LIK WARANGAL

(Devuni Gutta)
BRIEF :
This ancient temple, located 60 kilometers east of Warangal amidst the
secluded plateau forest of Kothur, faces a precarious condition. Constructed in
the 6th century by the Vakatakas, Devuni Gutta stands at risk of collapse within
the next 2 to 3 years.

AIM :
The primary objective of this documentation initiative is to record the temple's
details before its eventual collapse, ensuring that its memory endures for future
generations and preventing its beauty from fading into oblivion. By
documenting the temple, we aim to uncover insights into its historical
significance through interviews and research techniques such as urban
sketching, map analysis, and photographic documentation, thus retracing the
footsteps of the past.
