ACTIVITY #1

“Knowing yourself”

1. How can you describe yourself based on your own perspective?

As an individual, I determined myself as a dreamer, an independent, and creative with a strong

passion for artistic expression. I absolutely have a unique perspective on life and not afraid to share my
thoughts and ideas with others. I'm also a kind-hearted person who cares deeply for those around me.

2. Write an essay about anything that you wish to share about yourself.

As I reflect on my life thus far, there are many things that I am grateful for and wish to share it.
One of the biggest blessings in my life has been the opportunity to explore my talents and meet people
from other departments. Through sharing my talents, I have learned so much about the techniques and
about myself. I have discovered a deep appreciation for diversity and have gained a greater
understanding of the importance of respecting others and their beliefs, since everyone has different
perspectives.

3. What aspect of yourself do you believe you have to improve? Why?

For myself, I believe I should improve my ability to manage my time more effectively. Although I
am generally organized and efficient however, there are times when I am distracted by small things, I
keep on forgetting what I was doing. Severally, I explained to my parents that I have ADHD, however,
they don't understand and didn't take it seriously, and now it got worse a lot cause of some serious trauma.
Moreover, I become overwhelmed with tasks and responsibilities, which can lead to stress and burnout
whereas my brain could scream silently calling for help.

4. Write an essay. How would I like other people to see me?

I would like others to see me as a dependable and supportive friend or partner. Someone who is
reliable, empathetic, and understanding, but also assertive and confident when necessary. I absolutely
strive to be a positive influence in the lives of those around me, and I hope that my actions reflect my
values of compassion.
