Prop: A special plexi stand. Open and close the base of the stand.
Tue opened and closed positions of the
stand are shown in the drawings below. Tue opened base is fixed with the help of magnets.
Open Closed
Working method of the stand. Tue secret of this trick is the tilting door of the stand. Tue tilting door
basically can be in two positions as - opened down (Picture la, lb) - closed up (picture 2) Closing up the
tilting door. Hold the stand between your hands in a way that both little parts of your thumbs should be
below the tilting door (Picture 3.) Fast upward movements of your thumbs resulting the fast closing of the
tilting door (Picture 4.) Also a little movement ofyour thumbs is enough to close up the door fast. Tue tilting
door is held by the magnets in this position. Open down the tilting door. Place your index finger on the top of
the tilting door and pull it towards you gently. (Picture 5)
Preparation Close up the tilting door (Picture 2) piace the predicted cards into the slots of the tilting door.
(Picture 6) Write down 'the predictions with a whiteboard marker to the base of the stand (Picture 7.) Turn
down the tilting door. (P~cture la)

Piace the stand on the table
~ \ showing its numbered side to the audience. The audience even may see when the
magician writes down the predictions (for the second time of course onto the back side of the tilting door)
without turning around the stand. (Picture 9) Piace the chosen cards above the numbers in the stand where is
the position of each card is selected by the spectator. The audience only should see the back of the cards.
(Picture 8) The selection of the cards can happen in any way the only important thing is not to show the face
of these cards at during this process. After placing the cards into the stand their order can be changed in case
the spectator wishes. In case the order of the cards are final close up the tilting door in fast motion (see:
closing up the tilting door). However the followings should be considered. In case the audience is close to
you (just on the other side of your table) the top of the stand should be minimum at their eyes leve I when you
closing up the tilting door. Also please take a step backward not to flash closing up the door to the audience
on your sides. Turn the stand towards the audience showing the face of the cards and the predictions then
piace it on the table.
Please consider the followings:
One ofte best quaility white board marker is the German STABILO. In case you want to use another
type of marker make sure that the text written on the stand can be cleaned without any trace. Before
writing to the stand please try your marker on the white square you find in your package. We can not
be count for any quarantee in case of using bad quailty markers leaving uncleanable traces on the
stand.
When you cleaning the tilting door ( erasing your writing) make sure that the wiping paper or cloth is
not jamed to the metal plate on it.
Storing Trio: Do not store it either close to heather device or piace having high humidity. (E.g. radiator, right
under the sun, rainy area but normai room temperature is suggested.)
