4.Grammar nugget (N): Past simple negatives: I didn't go
Read the first sentence. Complete the second sentence with the past simple negative.
Remember – in the present simple you use don't or doesn't for the negative. In the past
simple there is only one word for the negative: didn't.
You usually use the short form didn't in speaking and writing.
