Subject: Earth Day- “Think Green Live Clean”

Dear Parents,
Greetings!

We are excited to announce a House Activity based on the theme :Earth Day- “Think Green Live Clean”. The
purpose of this event is to emphasize environmental awareness and action which will encourage people,
raise awareness and encourage clean living.

As per CBSE guidelines, students from classes III -XI taking part in various activities based on the topic “Think
Green and Live Clean”. The activities will be held on 22nd April,2025 in the class itself and participation is
mandatory for every student.

The details of activities are as follow:

S.No. Category Topics Activities

1. Class – III Crown the Earth Participants will write sentences about
nature and decorate the crown using natural
elements.
2. Class – IV Badge making Create badges with eco-slogans in English like
“Water Saver” or “Earth Friend.

3. Green Quotes Bookmarks: Decorate


Class – V Bookmark Making bookmarks with Earth Day quotes and hand-
written messages in English.

4. Class – VI Poster on Trash to Create posters that include written


Treasure explanations or slogans showing how trash
can be turned into treasure.
5. Class – VII Poster design on Design posters with informative text in
Footprint Fighters English about reducing carbon footprints.

6. Bagging Sustainability Design cloth bags with eco-themed


Class – VIII – Cloth Bag Making English phrases or poetry or catchy slogan.

7. Sustain-a-Folder – Upcycled Folders: Using waste material


Class – IX Folder Making Activity participant will create a folder in which he
will reflect a
Paragraph :“My Role in a Sustainable
Future”
8. Class – X Eco-Art from Waste Participants will create a unique title and
tagline for their eco-art piece that reflects
environmental values.
Example: Title: “From Trash to Treasure”
Tagline: “What you throw away today may
inspire tomorrow

Assessment Criteria :
● Content and Relevance : The student should demonstrate a clear understanding of the topic. The content will be
accurate and well- researched.
● Creativity and Presentation Skills: Topic should be original, creative in thought and presentation.
● Language Proficiency : Usage of appropriate vocabulary and grammar correctly with proper structured sentences.
●Pronunciation and Clarity: Pronunciation should be clear with proper stress and clear enunciation(pronouncing
words)

We expect all students to participate with enthusiasm and make this initiative a grant success.
