PREPARATION

Overall Objectives
the ability to learn the ordinary pets, the ability to understand the use of have got, havent got and the question form of have got by using pets, the ability to pronounce the words and sentences correctly, the ability to match the pets according to the pictures, the ability to fill in the blanks in the activities,

the ability to rearrange the disorganized sentences, the ability to write sentences about the pictures on the board by using have got or havent got,
Behavioral Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
pronounce the words and sentences correctly, match the given pictures correctly, fill in the blanks with have got or havent got,
write sentences about the pictures on the board using have or havent got,
II.PRESENTATION 1- Motivation
The teacher greets the students saying, Good evening class! Then, he asks them How are you, today? They reply, Fine, thanks and you? The teacher says, I am fine. Thank you. Then, he goes on, Are you ready for the lesson? But before starting the lesson, lets do a warm-up activity.
2- Warm-up
As a warm-up activity the teacher asks the students; Do you know animals at home? And OK, now lets learn ordinary pets together.
3- Presenting the Instructional Objectives
The teacher shows a ppt slide and wants the students to look at the pictures, words, sentences carefully and also listen to him very carefully. Firstly, the teacher says the words and sentences one by one and then he wants the students to repeat after him. Meanwhile, he wants the students to pay attention to the pronunciation and have got/havent got in the sentences.
III. PRACTICE
At this stage the teacher writes questions about have got and he answers first one. Then for other questions, he wants the students to say the answer and write on the

board. Meanwhile, the teacher wants the students to write these sentences on their notebooks. And then the teacher says the sentences on the board and wants the students repeat after him. Afterwards, the teacher gives the students activity papers related to the subject. After that, they do matching, filling in the blanks and rearranging exercises about the subject. Finally, he wants them to read the answers.
IV. PRODUCTION
At this stage the teacher sticks the pictures on the board and then he says I have got a petshop, these are animals at home. Then he gives an example among the pictures. For example, he says I have got a cat. Afterwards, the teacher chooses a student and says You have got a petshop now. And then he asks the students individually some questions by using have got according to the pictures. The teacher wants them to write their answers on the board.
V. SUMMARY
In a few words the teacher summarizes the lesson by saying Today, we have learnt the ordinary pets, have got or havent got and the pronunciation of the words. If there isnt any problem, thats all for today. He says; See you next week.
