Activity 2.1. Do the list
Ongoing Education and Capability Development
It will take a unique combination of pedagogical method, classroom management, and
subject-matter competence to teach various grades. Regular attendees of conferences,
seminars, and workshops will give teachers access to the most recent strategies created for
various student populations. Teachers can stay current on best practices and the rapidly
changing educational technology landscape thanks to these professional development
programs. Thus, across a range of grade levels, these resources and techniques can
enhance lesson planning and student engagement.
Instructional coaching and peer mentoring
It can be difficult to manage a multi-grade classroom, particularly for those who are new to
the position. Through mentorship programs, less experienced instructors are paired with
more seasoned educators to foster a collaborative learning environment. Teachers can
exchange ideas, lesson plans, and classroom management strategies that have been tried
and evaluated in actual multi-grade classrooms using this support system. Additionally, peer
coaching boosts self-esteem and lessens feelings of loneliness.
Availability of Differentiated Educational Resources
Without a doubt, developing learning materials that consider differences in ages and
learning abilities is among the most challenging challenges for teachers in all grades. The
appropriate digital tools, manipulatives, textbooks, and reading materials in varied tiers can
greatly alleviate this challenge. The right resources allow for the creation of more vibrant
and effective lesson plans tailored to individual students, without the undue burden placed
on the instructor.
Constructive criticism and supportive supervision
Maintaining the morale and effectiveness of multi-grade teachers is largely dependent on
the involvement of school leaders, particularly administrators and head teachers. Teachers
can improve their teaching practices by doing regular observations in the classroom and
then providing sympathetic, useful feedback. Teachers managing challenging classrooms
need a culture of growth and trust, which is created when school administrators show
empathy and support.
Activity 2.2
Community Helper Possible Support

environmental conservation, and sustainable
food production from farmers. Science and
EPP courses benefit greatly from these
practical experiences, which provide the
studies a more concrete and culturally
relevant foundation.

contemporary and traditional weaving,
crafting, and upcycling methods. Their
knowledge enriches TLE and art programs
while fostering a respect for regional culture
and sustainability.
Cleaner Beyond maintaining the school's cleanliness,
cleaners can educate students on hygiene
practices, waste segregation, and the value of
keeping one's environment clean—lessons
vital for health and life skills education.
Parent Parents can help with activities in the
classroom, read aloud, supervise field
excursions, or assist with event planning,
among other tasks.
Police Officer Officers can lead discussions on personal
safety, traffic rules, and citizenship during
school visits or flag ceremonies. These topics
support values education and develop
students’ awareness of civic responsibilities.

drills, and promote teamwork and discipline
through example.
Musician Music is a universal language. Musicians can
teach basic rhythms, introduce musical
instruments, or lead community singing.
Their involvement supports MAPEH classes
and fosters students’ artistic expression.
Tour Guide With their storytelling skills and knowledge of
local landmarks, tour guides can enhance
lessons in Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies)
