Two Variable Function
1. One Variable Function
F(x) = x called of the change is x. Y= f(x) = x to value of y,x has a y value pairs. example : 1. Y = x
2. Y = x2
x y
Region of origin Regional result
3. Y = 1 x Y=0 X=0 x=1 y=1
Is the graph of the function of one variable on the spacedimension 2. quadrant of the plane. I III II IV
2. Two Variable Functions
Z = f (x, y) or f (x, y, z) is called a function of two variablesbecause it has 3 variables (x, y, z). For each pair x, y there is exactly one value of z with z are called modifiers and x, y are called change-free. Z is the result (Range) X, Y is the area of origin (Domain) Contoh : f (x,y,z) = x +y+ z -1 =0 or written f(z)= 2 ( - x - y +1 ) . f(x,y) = z= 2 ( - x - y +1 ) is the second change Domain of f ; Df = { (x,y) |x R ; y R } Range of f ; Rf = { z | z = 2 ( - x - y +1 ) }
2.1 Graph the two Variable of Function
To change the functions of the two equations z = f (x, y),domainya be an area in the field of x, y so that if the painton the R3 (three-dimensional space) by a system ofvertical coordinates x, y, z will be obtained images of the surface ..
Regional picture graphs the results of the function f Located above / below the Domain. The xy plane = the plane z = 0 Yz = area x = 0 Xz = field y= 0
2.2 Things that need to be considered in drawing graphs
1. domain function 2. Range 3. Symmetry x2+y2+z2= 4 4. Intersection with the coordinate planes: Z = 0 the intersection with the x, y X = 0 the intersection with the plane z, y Y = 0 the intersection with the plane z, x
5. The intersection of the fields - other fields. Especially the field - a field that / / the coordinate plane in particular fields - fields that / / the x, y. For example: cutting on the coordinate plane z = 1.
