TECHNICAL EVENTS
1.Paper Fest
Description:
Paper Fest is a technical paper presentation event where participants showcase
innovative ideas and research on trending topics in technology, science, or
engineering. Each participant or team is required to submit and present a paper to a
panel of judges. Evaluation will be based on originality, clarity, technical depth,
presentation skills, and Q&A interaction.
Do’s:
❖ Choose a topic that is relevant and innovative.
❖ Prepare a clean and visually appealing PowerPoint presentation.
❖ Practice speaking clearly and confidently.
❖ Include case studies, real-world applications, and citations.
❖ Dress formally and maintain professional conduct.
Don’ts:
❖ Do not copy content directly from the internet (plagiarism leads to
disqualification).
❖ Avoid reading from slides; maintain eye contact.
❖ Don’t exceed the time limit allotted for presentation.
❖ Refrain from including overly complex terms without explanation.

2. Reverse Coding
Description:
In Reverse Coding, participants are given output examples or expected behaviors,
and must work backward to write the logic/code that would generate the desired
result. This tests a participant’s understanding of algorithms, logic flow, and
debugging skills.
Do’s:
❖ Understand the expected output format thoroughly before starting.
❖ Use a structured approach to build logic step by step.
❖ Write clean, well-commented code (if applicable).
❖ Test your code for edge cases.
Don’ts:
❖ Don’t hardcode values to match outputs.
❖ Avoid using trial-and-error excessively without analyzing the problem.
❖ Don’t share or discuss your code with others during the contest.
3. AI Arena (Quiz)
Description:
AI Arena is a quiz competition designed to test participants on their knowledge of
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and general tech trends. It includes
multiple rounds—MCQs, rapid-fire, and scenario-based questions.
Do’s:
❖ Brush up on fundamental AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and real-life
applications.
❖ Listen to instructions clearly in each round.
❖ Answer confidently and quickly when on the buzzer.
❖ Stay alert and focused throughout.
Symposium proposal 4
Don’ts:
❖ Don’t talk or signal answers during the quiz.
❖ Avoid guessing without logic in negative marking rounds.
❖ Don’t argue with quizmasters over question clarity—seek clarifications
politely.
4. Code Hunt
Description:
Code Hunt is a gamified coding event that blends puzzle-solving with programming.
Participants must solve coding challenges that lead to clues, unlocking the next level
in a treasure hunt-style format.
Do’s:
❖ Keep your code optimized for time and efficiency.
❖ Divide tasks among team members (if team event).
❖ Think critically and logically to solve clue-based tasks.
❖ Stay organized and manage your time per level.
Don’ts:
❖ Don’t waste too much time on one level—move on if you're stuck.
❖ Avoid discussing answers with other teams.
❖ Don’t modify or tamper with the game environment or system files.

NON-TECHNICAL EVENT
1. Connections
Description:
A fun-filled wordplay game where participants must identify a common connection
among a series of images, clues, or words. It tests logical reasoning, lateral thinking,
and creativity.
Example: You may be shown 3 unrelated pictures, and you’ll have to guess the word
or theme that connects them all.
Skills Involved: Logical thinking, observation, general knowledge, and creative
association.
2. Galaxy Gaming
Description:
For the gamers out there! Galaxy Gaming is an e-sports challenge that may include
popular titles like BGMI, Free Fire, Call of Duty, or retro games depending on the
setup. Participants compete in a high-energy gaming session filled with strategy,
teamwork, and quick reflexes.
Note: Games and rules will be announced prior to the event.
Skills Involved: Hand-eye coordination, strategic planning, and team
communication.

3. Dumb Charades
Description:
The classic fun game where one teammate acts out the name of a movie, show, or
phrase without speaking, and the other guesses. This event is a hilarious test of
gestures, body language, and creativity.
Rounds May Include: Movie names (Tamil, English, or Hindi), tech terms, or
famous personalities.
Skills Involved: Non-verbal communication, imagination, and teamwork.
4. Advertise (Flyer Making)
Description:
This event blends creativity, design, and live presentation. Participants must first
create an engaging and innovative flyer or poster based on a surprise theme,
product, or event. But the twist? They don’t just design it—they step into the
shoes of a brand ambassador or marketer and act out a pitch to sell their idea
to the audience or judges.
Sample Pitch Scenario:
Topic: "Eco-Friendly Smart Bottle"
Flyer Design: A bottle that glows to remind hydration
Pitch:
“Tired of forgetting to drink water? Introducing GlowSip — the bottle that glows when your
body needs hydration. Eco-smart. Stylish. Essential. Grab yours now and glow with health!”
[Participant shows flyer and acts as if in a real ad or live product launch].
