FIRST READING
Reader:
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the
Ephesians

Brothers and Sisters: Live in love, as Christ

loved us and handed himself over for us. Be
subordinate to one another out of reverence for
Christ. Wives should be subordinate to their
husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is head
of his wife just as Christ is head of the Church, he
himself the savior of the body. As the Church is
subordinate to Christ, so wives should be
subordinate to their husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved
the Church and handed himself over for her to
sanctify her, cleansing her by the bath of water
with the word, that he might present to himself the
Church in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any
such thing, that she might be holy and without
blemish. So also husbands should love their wives
as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves
himself. For no one hates his own flesh but rather
nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ does the
Church, because we are members of his Body. For
this reason a man shall leave his father and his
mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall
become one flesh. This is the great mystery, but I
speak in reference to Christ and the Church. In any
case, each one of you should love his wife as
himself, and the wife should respect her husband.

Commentator: Please remain seated for the

marriage rites. May we request __James and
Joy__ to stand

couple. Candle sponsors please come forward
To their
light the candles and assist for lighting
candle. The candle represents the
light,
which is Christ. May it be light that will
shine
upon __James and Joy__, which will guide as
they move on their new life as married
couple.
The UNITY CANDLE - symbolizes the
union of ___James and Joy__, lives from them
To discover their true selves in the light of
The truth. As this light undivided so their
love be one.

Priest: Dearly beloved, __James & Joy__, you

are here today to seal your love with an
eternal bond before the church. I assure you
of the prayers of our community that God
may pour his abundant blessings on your
love and help you to carry out the duties of
the married state. And you, dear brothers
and sisters, may I ask you t help them wth
prayers and accept them as a new couple in

GIVING OF THE WEDDING RINGS AND

Now give these rings to one another,

(The brides takes the groom's ring from the priest

puts it on the groom's ring finger, saying after

(The grooms takes now the arrhae in both hands;

the
brides places her cupped hands under those of

Brothers and sisters, may I present to

Christian community: Mr. James and Ms. Joy.
Let us acknowledge them as husband and

by giving, them a hearty applause.

PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL

Priest: Gathered in joyful hope, we offer our
prayers to God, who creates hearts to
love.

Lector: For Lorelai and Zenoo who now

celebrate with us their joy and gratitude in
receiving God’s gift of love in the Holy
Sacrament of Marriag; that they may grow
old together by sharing life’s joys, struggles
and challenges in
order to become better persons and
Christians. May the blessings of the Lord
guide them through their lives as husband
and wife. We Pray to the Lord.

that, witnessing N. and N. making their

LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST

PREPARATION OF THE ALTAR AND THE GIFTS

When all this has been done, the Offertory Chant begins. Meanwhile, the
ministers place the corporal, the purificator, the chalice, the pall, and the
Missal on the altar.

It is desirable that the faithful express their participation by making an

offering, bringing forward bread and wine for the celebration of the Eucharist
and perhaps other gifts to relieve the needs of the Church and of the poor.

Priest:

Pray, brethren (brothers and sisters),

that my sacrifice and yours
may be acceptable to God,
the almighty Father.
The people rise and reply:

May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands

for the praise and glory of his name,
for our good and the good of all his holy Church.

PREFACE
Christ, source of all ministry in the Church.

It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,

always and everywhere to give you thanks,

and by his suffering, cancelled out our sins;
by his rising from the dead,
he has opened the way to eternal life,
and by ascending to you, O Father,

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER III

Priest:

Y ou are indeed Holy, O Lord,

and all you have created
rightly gives you praise,
for through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ,
by the power and working of the Holy Spirit,
you give life to all things and make them holy,
and you never cease to gather a people to
yourself,
so that from the rising of the sun to its setting
a pure sacrifice may be offered to your name.
The Priest with concelebrants:
He joins his hands and, holding them extended over the offerings, says:
 Therefore, O Lord, we humbly implore you:
by the same Spirit graciously make holy
these gifts we have brought to you for
consecration,
He joins his hands and makes the Sign of the Cross once over the bread and
the chalice together, saying:

that they may become the Body and  Blood

of your Son our Lord Jesus Christ,
He joins his hands.

at whose command we celebrate these

mysteries.

In the formulas that follow, the words of the Lord should be pronounced
clearly and distinctly, as the nature of these words requires.

For on the night he was betrayed

The Cardinal takes the bread and, holding it slightly raised above the altar,
continues:

he himself took bread,

and, giving you thanks, he said the blessing,
broke the bread and gave it to his disciples,
saying:
He bows slightly.

T AKE THIS, ALL OF YOU,

AND EAT OF IT,
FOR THIS IS MY BODY,
WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.
He shows the consecrated host to the people, places it again on the paten,
and genuflects in adoration.

After this, the priest continues:

 I n a similar way, when supper was ended,
He takes the chalice and, holding it slightly raised above the altar, continues:

he took the chalice,

and, giving you thanks, he said the blessing,
and gave the chalice to his disciples, saying:
He bows slightly.

TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT,

FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD,
THE BLOOD OF THE NEW
AND ETERNAL COVENANT,
WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU

He shows the chalice to the people, places it on the corporal, and genuflects

In memory of His death

eternal life with Mary, the Virgin Mother

COMMUNION RITE
Priest:

A t the Savior’s command and formed

by divine teaching we dare to say:
He extends his hands and, together with the people, continues:

Our Father who art in Heaven,

hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

 D eliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil,
graciously grant peace in our days,
that, by the help of your mercy,
we may be always free from sin
and safe from all distress,
as we await the blessed hope

SIGN OF PEACE

who said to your Apostles:

Let us pray: Lord, in your love you have
given us this Eucharist to unite us with
one another and with you. As you have
made James and Joy
One in this
sacrament of marriage and in sharing of
the one bread and one cup, So now
make them one in love for each other.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
