Good morning to everyone present here, my name is Krishnav Anand, and I stand before you today as a

candidate for the position of school president. It is with great honor and humility that I present myself
as a leader who is ready to serve our school community with dedication and enthusiasm. Throughout
my time here, I’ve witnessed many promises made during campaigns that often remain unfulfilled,
leaving both students and faculty disappointed. I am here today not to make lofty promises, but to earn
your trust through dedicated work and genuine effort.
I believe actions speak louder than words. I am planning to form a committee which is an independent
student body that will work with us to help us better understand the needs and concerns of the
students. This will include 5 to 6 representatives from each grade who will gather up all the suggestions
and problems the people have and present them to us, and we will send these to the management as
joint statements. To support this process we might also make a website for everyone to post their
suggestions and problems so that even if we can’t meet the people personally we will know what our
next step is. This plan can really impact how my peers and juniors learn about contributing in a social
democracy and would give us a firsthand experience into the insights of political life away from the
noise it is known for today. Just like how we have physics labs, math labs and chemistry labs, this
practical experience will make my fellow kensrites aware and slightly experienced in the realm of the
legislative branch of governance. This will definitely help us learn and understand our social studies.
Studying in this school since pre-nursery has always brought me and many others countless
expectations from the teachers and leader for creating a very friendly and fun environment, but
whatever they told us they would do and promised us, never really happened. Now there is a chance
for that mantle to fall in my hands and to make everyone’s expectations come true and provide a
memorable experience for everyone. There is only one thing I can promise, that I will do everything in
my power to make this year fun and joyful for everyone. I pledge to speak for our realistic and
collective needs, striving to create a more vibrant and interactive school atmosphere.
Speech for students
 Introduce myself
 Ask the question: can anyone name few things you were promised by the previous
presidents but not delivered on, can I see a raise of hands.
 Things like electricity canteen sports periods:::::
Ask them, why do you think we never got them, why did we fail to fulfil those
promises:::::::::::::::::
It’s because the student council is not given the power or authority to make such changes to the
school.
(continued with the previous point) but even having the authority to do so the management does
not make an effort to bring about the changes that are within their power no matter how many
times it is bought to their attention.

If you want a change and finally want to make kensri great again, vote for me. I will make sure
that students are given an equal, free and open platform in which we as the democracy of kensri
will be taken into account by the management and our schooling will be more comfortable. We’ll
make the school listen to our needs and improve the quality of life and make management more
transparent.

We are forming a committee that will work alongside the rest of the student body and will consist
representatives from each grade which will be rotated every 6 months or so. This committee is an
independent student body that will work with us to help us better understand the needs and
concerns of the students which we will then bring to the attention of the management.
We will also make a website for everyone to post their suggestions problems everything on it so
that even if we can’t always meet in person we will know what to plan and coordinate accordingly
as to what issues need to be addressed to the management while keeping the best interests of
the students in mind.
Last week I conducted a survey among students through my friends and it has come to my
attention that there are many things the students are unhappy with and I have come up with
solutions to the most experienced issues. First off is hygiene and it occurred to me as a big
problem as it is a very important part of life. According to the survey the female students have a
lot of issues with the cleanliness of the washrooms and availability of feminine hygiene products
and if elected I will make sure to talk to the housekeeping staff and ensure it is cleaned more
often. I will also ensure that there will always be feminine hygiene products made available to any
student who needs them. This is a small step I want to take toward a better and more
comfortable school year for all the students.
Another concern that was bought to my attention was that the events at our school take place on
a very short notice whether it be extra classes or extra-curricular activities and since it is always
on very short notice the students don’t have enough time to prepare for it. If you vote for me I
will make sure that all the students will be given a notice about the upcoming event at least 24
hours prior.
I also got suggestions and requests from a lot of students asking for a library, unfortunately I do
not have the authority to add a library to the school but I have however made other
arrangements. For all the students that like to read I will be setting up a system where you can
rent books for a cheaper price. And if you prefer reading to playing sports then you can read in
the sports complex during sports class.
These are solutions that I found for the most bought up issues and if you vote for me I promise
that going forward I will come up with solutions to the problems bought to my attention as best
as I can.
All these plans can change our whole school into something different and better. The end goal of
this process is to post joint statements to the management and vote on suggestions.
If I get elected, I will change the dynamics of this school forever.
One thing I promise you out of this is that I will do everything in my power to make this a very fun
and joyful year.
Thank you
