RE: APPLICATION FOR AB-INITIO CADET PILOT PROGRAM INTERNSHIP AT THE AIRLINES
My name is Vivek Nihalani, a sixteen-year-old male student at Aga Khan High School. In
2019, I participated in a cultural dance competition where I won a private jet trip, from which I
found my first ambition in aviation. I am writing this letter to express my strong interest in the
internship opportunity at Uganda Airlines. As an enthusiastic and dedicated aspiring pilot, I am
eager to contribute my passion for aviation and my commitment to safety to your esteemed
organization. The reasons why I want to do an internship at Uganda Airlines include;

 My passion for aviation since childhood that fascinates me through the thrill of flight and
the accuracy involved in navigation and of course the responsibility to take care that my
passengers have a safe journey.
 My desire to learn through interning at Uganda Airlines would provide me valuable
insights of experience on how does an airline actually works and the various roles of
pilots before, during and after a flight.
 My ultimate goal in future is to become a commercial pilot specifically at Uganda
Airlines. By interning I would be able to develop necessary skills for a successful career
in aviation.

My qualities include having strong work ethics which as a dedicated student, I have
consistently demonstrated by discipline, punctuality, and a strong work ethics, adapting quickly
to new environments and technologies and ensuring safety as top priority as I understand the
crucial role it plays in aviation. I am committed to going above and beyond to contribute to the
team and I promise to be able to learn the procedures and protocols required by airlines quickly.

I can contribute by assisting in preflight checks, cockpit procedures, data entry, filling
paper work and help marshalling aircrafts. I expect to gain insights in the aviation industry, the
daily life of professional pilots and learn about airline operations from an administrative
perspective.
