gay man that sees ghosts of his rented apartment after blowing on a wind chime. They tell him
stories.

adopted baby that dodges bullets because he eats his veggies (in large amounts)

flutist Syrian beggar that eats humans and plays their souls/life/personality as musical tones

Professor of English literature searching for tree of knowledge in a cave. it is actually a giant brain,
roots are vein-ish, blood is part red part transparent like compromise between blood and water sap.
The brain stem is a trunk.
He found out the existence of the tree in cryptic messages hidden in Shakespeare. He dreams about
climbing it and having sex with it through his skin pores as the folds undulate him inside. He decides
to search for it and asks it who wrote Shakespeare's work. It tells him a story.
