The Team
DANISA CHINAMASA
Chief Executive Officer
Danisa is a self-driven leader with more than 12 years ‘working
experience in the Standards and Standardisation fields. He holds
Degrees in Production Engineering, Monitoring and Evaluation and
a Masters in Strategic Management. He has certificates in Risk
Management, Environment Management Systems Development
and Auditing as well as Quality Infrastructures Development. He
worked for ZESA Enterprises as Quality Controller before joining
the Standards Association of Zimbabwe as a Quality and Business
Management Systems Auditor in 2013. He then joined ZimTrade
as a Monitoring and Evaluation Executive responsible for the
organisation’s Quality and Risk Management Systems as well as
Monitoring and Evaluation until 2019. He is also the founder and
Managing Director of Optimus Quality Management Solutions,
a Business Management Systems Consultancy Company. He is
a National Mirror Committee member for ISO 9001
and ISO 31000 Standards and a certified Internal
Control Specialist and Certified Lead Auditor.

DR. KUDZANAI VERE


Board Chairman
With over 20 years professional experience, Dr. Kudzanai Vere
is an established Coach, Author and Entrepreneur. He has
worked in the fields of accounting as well as Branch Manager
in various companies, namely, PG Industries, CFI Holdings and
Redstar Holdings, between 2001 and 2012. In 2013, he moved
to Alketok Investments where he assumed the role of Audit
Manager. In line with his passion in Business Management, he
is the Founder and CEO of Kudfort Advisory Services (2014 to
date) Premium Business Network International (2017 to date).

Dr Vere holds a Diploma in Business Management,
Degree in Purchasing & Logistics Management and a
Masters in Business Administration. His doctorate is
in Entrepreneurship.

primary objective, through its combined expertise, is to develop an
organisation that helps our stakeholders by providing an equitable
platform for dialogue and the development of quality related policies
in Zimbabwe.

CAROLINE MEMORY NYAGATO


Board Member
Carol is an eloquent and self-driven team player. She has more
than 30 years working experience, mainly in the field of Events
Management, Marketing and Business Development. She holds
certificates in Cost Management Accounts and Book Keeping
and Accounts. She has a Diploma in Project Management as
well as a Degree in Development Studies. Her career spans over
30 years, starting as a Data Capturing Clerk at CIMAS in 1993
before moving to Lydale Fuel and Energy Distribution Company
in 1997 where she was a Manager. She then worked for Trucar
Motor Spares as a Credit Controller from 2000 to 2014. In 2014,
she moved to Volsec Security as a Business Development
Officer before joining RAMS Security as the General Manager
from 2018 to 2019. She is also the co-founder and Business
Development Director at Classic Protection Services. She holds
a Quality Management System Auditing Certificate
from Optimus Quality Management Solutions and is
passionate about the use of Standards in business
development.

FARAI MARINGAZUVA
Board Member
Farai has over 15 years’ experience in Human Resources
Consulting and Socio-Economic Research and over 8 years
with a Global Audit firm as a Management Consultant. He was
involved in national socio-economic research in his earlier years
covering various sectors of the economy. He is currently a
Managing Partner at Comprehensive Consulting Services among
other interests. He has lead and participated in human capital
interventions in private and public organisations,
government and non-governmental agencies in
Zimbabwe and in the region. He brings industry and
global practice experience to the board.

LUCY MARY MAROWA


Board Member
With a passion in Quality Infrastructure Development and
implementation, Lucy is a Medical Laboratory Scientist by
profession, and a qualified Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
(SHEQ) Practitioner, covering development, implementation and
auditing in this area. She has a host of additional qualifications
that include an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe, a Post
Graduate Diploma in Management and Leadership and is on
the verge of completing a Masters Degree in Haematology. She
worked as SHEQ Manager at National Blood Service Zimbabwe,
whereby she successfully led the organisation to ISO 9001
certification prior to becoming the organisation’s CEO, a position
that she presently holds since 2015. She is a firm believer of
transformational leadership in which she seeks to groom and
challenge her teams to go beyond themselves to achieve both
personal and organizational goals, with particular focus on
women. She works with various business member organizations
such as the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC),
Women’s Desk, the Women Corporate Director’s Network, CEO
Africa Round Table amongst others. These engagements have
transformed her leadership style into that of empowering others
and creating proper succession. Lucy currently
serves as an adjudicator at the Southern Africa
Development Committee (SADC) Quality Awards
since 2019 to date.

TINASHE DANIEL KAVUMBURA


Director: Communications & Branding
Tinashe is a seasoned Branding Expert and Award-winning
Graphic Designer and IT Specialist with 15+ years of experience
in working with BMOs, Corporates, NGOs and Development
Agencies to develop compelling, functional and creative solutions
to meet their communication needs. His rich portfolio covers
corporate identity, branding, documentary film production,
publicity, marketing promotions and international exhibitions. His
influence has been notable in his work, locally, with ZimTrade,
Transparency International and, globally, with UNICEF, the African
Union Commission, the International Trade Center as well as
the African Development Bank and USAID. Tinashe brings to
the team a wealth of experience in implementing a world-class
and consistent brand and communications strategy,
in line with international Standards. He holds an
Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from Oxford
Brooks University (UK) and has vast experience
across the African and Asian markets.
