OCULUS QUEST INSTALLATION

1. To install oculus quest software go to the website using following


link https://www.meta.com/quest/setup/
2. In the website, under quest 2 option click on DOWNLOAD
SOFTWARE.

3. Open the downloaded OculusSetup.exe file.


4. Click on YES to allow oculus quest app to make changes to your
device.
5. Install oculus software.
6. After installing Oculus Quest 2 software open the app.
7. Login to the meta account through facebook or gmail.

8. If you don’t have meta account create one.


9. To login provide following details
 Name
 Username
 PIN contains four digits
10. After login to the Meta Account.
11. Open the Oculus Quest app and then click on devices.
12. Click add headset and then select the headset.
13. Now connect the headset using link cable.

The following table lists the current Windows PC recommended


requirements for Link.

14. Turn on your headset.


15. Plug your USB 3 cable into a USB 3.0 port on your PC, then plug the
other end into your headset.
16. Connect your headset.

17. Set up completed.


18. The device will be active under the devices option in oculus quest
app.
19. Under settings go to General and then click on unknown sources and
OpenXR.
20. After completing Oculus Software setup, In Oculus headset enable
quest link by clicking on “Enable now”.
21. Create a Project on Unity and Run it .
22. We can able to see this project inside Oculus headset.
