hose to the sensor. In case of reading deviates more than 10% from stated on
cylinder contents – need to re-calibrate (MIM…). Periodical Calibration Period by
authorized technician – 3 months for Fixed and Portable Gas Detectors.
Crew – weekly check and log.
H2S – in PPM; High Alarm = 10PPM; HH Alarm = 20 PPM.
LEL- in %. LEL = Low Explosion Level = Check System setting.

the setting of temperature sensor?
In laundry – 60C;
Galley – 60 C;
In ER (above the engine) – 70 C.

- But Class requires OWS and 15 ppm equipment to be 100% operational.

Engine room. (H x Density = 8 bar).

3) Recirculation Pump Rating? ( As per ARAMCo Contract Requirement)
4) Agitator Ratings? (As per ARAMCo Contract requirement)

The alternator must have equal voltage, frequency, phase sequence. Connection
moment: matching of phase angle of connecting generator and bus bars.

48. Reverse power.
Reverse power protection is applied to prevent the generator acting as a motor in the
event of reduced power of the prime mover. Reduced power may be accidental due to
mechanical cause. On diesel generator sets it is still important to trip the circuit breaker
in order to reduce the load imposed on remaining set; this one will be probably
overloaded anyway due to the loss of a generator and an additional motoring load of up
to 20% of the rating of one machine should be removed as quickly as possible.

ULAR SCBA PROCEDURES FOR REGA TESTS:
- Main valve fully open (press & anti-clockwise)
- Low pressure sound signal test.
- try full face mask to check for leakage
- put on SCBA over head
- tighten all belts
- open cylinder valve
- put on face mask
- connect hose of mask to the regulator,
ON Regulator valve (max 1 min).

MAIN VALVE.
REPPORT TO THE BRIDGE WITH FULLY ACTIVATED SCBA
SCBA OPERATIONAL TIME IS 30 MIN.
