Dear Ms.
Lanting,
On March 13, 2025, you submitted an application for a provisional residence permit (MVV)
for Udbhav Verma. This is my decision.
Notification to the Dutch Embassy
I have informed the Dutch embassy in Bangalore that the MVV may be issued to Mr. Verma.
The purpose of stay is: "Residence as a family or household member with Ms. Lanting."
Schedule an Appointment Quickly for the MVV Visa Sticker
The MVV is issued by placing an MVV visa sticker in the passport. For this, you must
schedule an appointment at the Dutch embassy in Bangalore. You can find the contact details
via the website [Link]/contact.
During busy periods, it can take a long time to get an appointment at the Dutch embassy.
Therefore, make an appointment as soon as possible!
If Mr. Verma does not go to the Dutch embassy in Bangalore within 3 months to receive the
MVV visa sticker, he will have to submit a new MVV application to the IND.
Please note that after the appointment at the Dutch embassy, it may take 2 weeks before the
MVV visa sticker is issued. This is because not every Dutch embassy has the equipment to
issue visa stickers. Mr. Verma will not have his passport during this period.
I advise against buying travel tickets until he has received the MVV visa sticker.
The MVV Visa Sticker is Valid for 90 Days
Mr. Verma must travel to the Netherlands within 90 days after the MVV visa sticker is placed
in his passport.
Conditions for Issuing the MVV Visa Sticker
The Dutch embassy will only issue the MVV visa sticker if Mr. Verma meets the following
conditions:
He must go to the Dutch embassy in person.
His passport is valid for at least 6 more months and has 2 blank pages.
The original documents he brings must be authentic. The Dutch embassy will check
this.

There are no reasons to still reject the application.
Mr. Verma Must Bring the Following to the Dutch Embassy:
A copy of this letter.
The completed and signed "Form for MVV Issuance." Go to
[Link]/mvv-verlening-formulier for the Dutch version, or
[Link]/mvv-issue-form for the English version.
His passport.
A copy of his passport.
A new, unused passport photo. The photo requirements can be found at
[Link]/eisen-pasfoto.
A copy of your passport (the page with photo and personal data).
His original certificate of unmarried status.
The Dutch embassy may request additional documents in consultation with the IND.
Fingerprints, Signature, and Passport Photo
To create a residence permit, the IND needs Mr. Verma’s fingerprints, passport photo, and
signature. The IND can also use this information to verify his identity. The Dutch embassy
will therefore collect his fingerprints, signature, and photo.
The Residence Permit
The IND will create a residence permit for Mr. Verma. He does not need to apply for this
separately. He will receive a letter when the residence permit is ready for collection.
When Mr. Verma collects the residence permit, the MVV visa sticker in his passport must
still be valid.
Mr. Verma will receive a regular residence permit for a fixed period.
Purpose of stay: "Residence as a family or household member with Ms. Lanting."
Labor market annotation: "Work freely permitted, no TWV (work permit) required."
General funds annotation: "Relying on public funds may affect the right of residence."
The residence permit will start on the day after the MVV is issued and will be valid for 5
years.
Register with the Municipality
Cisco Confidential
After arriving in the Netherlands, Mr. Verma must register with the municipality of his place
of residence within 5 days. He must present his original birth certificate with legalization.
Make sure he brings this when traveling to the Netherlands.
Tuberculosis (TB) Test
Within 3 months after arriving in the Netherlands, an appointment must be made with the
Municipal Health Service (GGD) for a tuberculosis (TB) test. The referral form for the TB
test must be used. This form was included with the MVV application form.
You May Lodge an Objection
Do you disagree with this decision? Then send a written objection to the IND within 4 weeks,
along with a copy of this decision. The postal address is at the top of this letter.
You and Mr. Verma Must Report Changes
Both of you are obliged to report any changes that may affect the right of residence to the
IND (information obligation). The IND will then investigate whether there is a reason to
revoke, cancel, or amend the MVV or residence permit. More information about this and
other legal obligations can be found at [Link].
Do You Have a Question?
You can call your contact person at the IND for questions about this decision. For other
information, go to [Link] or call the IND information line. The phone numbers are listed
at the top of this letter.
Kind regards,
The Minister for Asylum and Migration,
on behalf of,
