The Most Inspiring Speech I Have Ever Read – Unbarbaad by Shobhit
Nirwan
Good morning everyone,
Respected teachers and my dear friends,
Today, I stand before you to share something very close to my heart – the most
inspiring speech I have ever read. But interestingly, this speech wasn’t from a movie,
a famous leader, or a TED talk. It was from a book called "Unbarbaad" written by
Shobhit Nirwan, a young author, YouTuber, and a true guide for the youth of India.
Let me begin by telling you, Unbarbaad is not a traditional book. It feels like a
conversation. It feels like an elder brother talking to you, guiding you through pain,
failures, laziness, distractions, and confusion. It is like a mirror – showing you your
weaknesses not to make you feel bad, but to help you rise above them. And that is
why it is so inspiring.
There is one specific part of the book that touched me deeply. It was the part where
the author says:
"Tu barbaad nahi hua, tujhe barbaad kiya gaya hai. Par tu unbarbaad bhi ho sakta
hai."
This means – You are not destroyed. You were made to feel destroyed. But you can
rise again.
That line gave me goosebumps. It made me realize that no matter how broken or
lost we feel – we still have the power to stand again, rebuild ourselves, and achieve
greatness.
Why This Speech Inspired Me So Much?
Friends, I want to share three reasons why this speech or message from Unbarbaad
is the most inspiring I’ve ever read.
1. It spoke directly to me
Unlike many motivational speeches that feel too perfect, too ideal, this one felt real.
Shobhit Nirwan doesn't act like a superhuman. He accepts that students go through
distractions, social pressure, phone addiction, comparison, and self-doubt. He
doesn’t give lectures. He gives you practical advice. He tells you why you feel lazy,
how your brain is being tricked by dopamine, and what you can actually do about it.
For me, it was like he understood my struggles – waking up late, starting strong and
losing focus, comparing myself to toppers on YouTube, and feeling guilty for not
being productive. This book became my wake-up call.
2. It teaches that failure is not the end
The book taught me that failing once doesn’t make you a failure. It makes you
human. What matters is not how many times you fall, but how many times you get
up. There’s a line where he says:
“Ek baar barbaad hone ka matlab yeh nahi ke zindagi khatam ho gayi. Jab tak tu
zinda hai, tab tak tu kuch bhi kar sakta hai.”
This line reminded me that we always have a second chance. Many students feel like
their one bad exam, or one mistake, has ruined everything. But this book says – No,
you are not finished. You still have the power to write a new story. That gave me a
lot of hope.
3. It showed me the power of small changes
Shobhit Nirwan doesn’t ask us to study 18 hours a day or become a robot. He simply
says – fix one thing at a time. Sleep early. Wake up on time. Study for just one
focused hour. Take breaks without guilt. Respect your parents. And most
importantly – believe in yourself.
There’s a line that hit me hard:
“Zindagi tab badlegi jab tu apne chhoti-chhoti harako se jeetne lagega.”
Which means – Life will change when you start winning your small battles.
This changed my mindset completely. I stopped waiting for the perfect mood or
perfect plan. I started with just 30 minutes of honest study. Slowly, it became a
habit. I became more disciplined, more peaceful, and more confident.
Personal Impact – How It Changed Me
Before reading Unbarbaad, I used to think motivation is like watching a video and
feeling energetic for 5 minutes. But this book changed me from inside. It made me
look at myself honestly – not to judge, but to improve.
Whenever I feel low now, I just remember the book’s title – Unbarbaad. It means
“rebuilding yourself”. No matter how many times life breaks you, you can always
rise again.
Because of this book:
- I manage my screen time better.
- I focus on real goals, not just motivation.
- I learned how to be consistent, not perfect.
- I stopped blaming others for my failures.
Why You Should Read It Too
If you are a student who sometimes feels:
- Lost or confused,
- Addicted to your phone,
- Stuck in a cycle of guilt and procrastination,
- Tired of fake motivational speeches,
Then this book is for you. It will not give you magic formulas. It will give you clarity,
purpose, and practical tools to transform your life.
The best part is – it comes from someone who has gone through the same journey.
That’s why it feels authentic and trustworthy.
Conclusion
To conclude, I want to say that the speech or message I got from Unbarbaad is the
most inspiring thing I’ve ever read – not because it is full of big words or fancy
quotes, but because it is real, raw, and relatable.
It doesn’t tell you to be the best in the world. It tells you to become the best version
of yourself. And that, my friends, is the most powerful motivation anyone can ever
receive.
I want to thank Shobhit Nirwan sir for writing something that touched the hearts of
millions of students like me.
And I want to leave you with this one thought from the book:
"Tujh mein abhi bhi jaan baaki hai, tu abhi bhi unbarbaad ho sakta hai."
Let’s all become the authors of our own Unbarbaad story.
Thank you so much!
