1. Storyboard & Animatic
1.1 Clarity of Story and Concept

• Comments: The animatic clearly has a good flow and a good grasp on what the concept really
is, though I’m not sure yet how the song relates to the entire story.

• Comments: the camera angles and the framing of the characters consistently uses the rule of
thirds and it’s effective as the camera pans around the characters anyway.

• Comments: (Is the pacing of scenes appropriate? Do scenes flow naturally from one to the
next?) The flow and the pacing is right on and I can get the gist of the story they had in mind

• Comments: The key actions were drawn quite well but the expressions of the characters itself
are quite hard to critique on since most of it are vague sketches/ideas on what the character
would be feeling in that scenario and it’s a little hard for me to figure out why the character
would be feeling that way but it’s still okay overall.

2. Character Designs
2.1 Consistency and Cohesion

• Comments: The designs are good and I think despite the different art styles that were used to
draw all of the characters, it adds more personality to the story they were going for seeing that
they’re all different creatures from different worlds (if I may assume). Yet, despite the different
styles, it’s still cohesive and it matches up with the overall concept.

2.2 Uniqueness and Appeal

• Comments: Some characters don’t appeal to me as much as how the others were drawn but
each of the designs are unique and each of them definitely stands out in their own way.

• Comments: The features that were drawn on each character can effectively convey how they
express themselves and their personality traits. I’m not sure if all of them can be relatable
seeing as how I’ve only seen vague sketches of how they would express themselves in the
animatic. (See comment on 1.4)

• Comments: Although the story has a good flow and a good grasp on the concept, some details
were more polished than others and there’s still a lot of work to be done.

3.1 Evidence of Teamwork in the Final Product

• Comments: The final product is cohesive, although a bit rushed, it feels like they still all worked
together to get it done and I can see how much effort they’ve put into it.

• Comments: I think they all did what they could and they seem to have communicated on what
they want the outcome of the project to be since everything seems to be balanced out.

• Comments: The vision and quality are consistent, cohesive and communicated thoroughly,
there needs to be more work done in terms of polishing out the sketches but other than that, I
think they all did great and I hope they keep it up!
