Dear Parent,
“SUMMER MEANS HAPPY TIMES AND GOOD SUNSHINE!”

Summer Vacation! A long time to rejoice and recreate for all the children. It is
an appropriate period when the parents spend quality time with their children
and try to discover their hidden potential, to realize their talents and raise
their self-esteem.
 Vacation gives children a chance to relax. Besides relaxing, there should be
a healthy mix of play and work. Punctuate their relaxed moments with
constructive and creative work, this will surely enhance their confidence.
 Encourage your child to eat healthy food. Take your child for outing and
fun. Try to spend maximum time with him/her and develop an everlasting
bond.
 Help your child inculcate good habits.
 To enhance your artistic skills and the art of expression, practice any art
form (drawing/craft/dance/music).
 Recite a story to your child and ask him/her to narrate it.
 To improve your handwriting, correct the formation of small and capital
letters. Practice writing (English and Hindi).
 So, spend these holidays creating an environment filled with fun, frolic,
learning and education.

 Picture Reading a to z - Read pages 16 to 34
 Read and learn spellings of Sight words Page no. 20 and 37.
 Learn ‘a’ sound words of Page no. 40, 41
 Rhymes: Seed song, I am a star.
 Story: Importance of food
 Project: Make flash cards of a to z given at the
backside of the English book.
 Activity: Show and tell. Topic: My Family
(Students will learn 12 to 15 lines on this topic.)
