4 PILLARS OF DECENT WORK AGENDA
COMPONENTS
OF DECENT
WORK
MODEL OF DECENT WORK
• Classical Model
• Transition Model
• Development Model
CLASSICAL MODEL
• The Classical Model was popular before the Great Depression
• It says that the economy is very free-flowing, and prices and
wages freely adjust to the ups and downs of demand over time.
TRANSITION MODEL
• Was created by change consultant, William Bridges, and
was published in his 1991 book “Managing Transitions”
• The main strength of the model is that it focuses on
transition, not change
DEVELOPMENT MODEL
• Based on the idea that when risks are prominent, the prudent
way to proceed is by a series of iterations where each cycle
involves carrying out activities that explore the problem
domain and or develop potential solutions in more detail.
LAWS GOVERNING NURSING PRACTICE
• Republic Act No. 7305: Magna Carta for Public
Health Workers
• Republic Act No. 9173: Philippine Nursing Act of
2002

situations that nurses in the Philippines are experiencing?”
Site at least 3 or as many as you like.

safety, salary, benefits.
