Task 4:
5 stories of following topics
a)A birthday party:
Today was my grandma’s 75th birthday. She had decided to meet her childhood friends after
50 long years. When they met, they didn’t recognize each other. But as soon as they heard
each other’s voices, their eyes welled up, and they became childhood friends once again.
They reminisced about their childhood days, playing together, studying together, and
dreaming together. They shared their life experiences, joy, and sorrows. They confided in
each other, and once again, they became inseparable friends.
The birthday party was attended by all family members. They celebrated with cake, and then
my grandma danced with her childhood friends. They had traveled back in time to their
carefree childhood days, when life was simple, and happiness was effortless.
As the party came to end, my grandma hugged her friends and said, ”you ‘ll always be my
childhood friends.” And they promised each other to remain friends forever, no matter what
life had in store for them.
[3]

The reunion was a beautiful testament to the power of true friendship, which can transcend
time, distance, and circumstance.
My grandma’s birthday had become a celebration of their enduring bond, a bond that would
continue to inspire and nurture them for years to come.
{The end}

b) A school event: (farewell event)

It was our school’s farewell party, and my friends and I were super excited. We had
completed 10 years of school and now heading off to college.
The party began with our principal honoring us and recognizing achievement. She reminded us
of the countless memories we had made together in school.
Next, we gave our teachers thank-you cards and gifts. We took selfies with them too. My
friend Alisha gave her favorite teacher, Miss Shavana, a beautiful gift.
Then, we had a grand finale. We reminisced about the time we spent together in school and
shared our experiences.
As the party came to a close, we all got emotional. We said goodbye to our friends and
teacher, promising never to forget them.
My friend Alisha, with tears in her eyes, said, ” I’ll never forget our school memories.”
I told her, “We’ll never forget, Alisha. Our school is a part of our lives.”
This was my farewell event story.

c) A wedding ceremony:
I drew immense pleasure when the marriage ceremony of my cousin was held. It was
performed on 19 December.
My cousin was the first child to be married in the family. Her marriage was celebrated with
great enthusiasm. Preparation for the marriage started one month before the celebration. My
parents, uncle and aunt spent a whole week making necessary purchase. The whole house was
repainted.
Many kinds of gold ornaments were bought for my cousin. Several cloths were also purchased
for all the family members and relatives.
There was a great excitement and joy among us to see the preparations for the wedding
ceremony in our family. Decorations were made on the day before the marriage ceremony. An
electrician with his four assistants decorated the house with a number of multi-colored
electric lamps.
On the day of ceremony my father and uncle stood at the gate to receive the guests. The
barat arrived at nine in the evening. First, the guests were served sweats and cold drinks.
Many guests had brought different gifts for my cousin who was the bride. The groom was
seated on the stage with thick garlands around his neck.
After nikah and dinner it was the time to RUKHSATI. We cried when my cousin pated with us
and went to her new house.
{The end}

d) A picnic:
I, my brothers, my cousin and my two friends, Alisha and Fatima made a program to have a
picnic on the seaside, so on last Sunday we went on a picnic. We woke up early in the morning
and after breakfast we got ready to go to Manora. We hired a texi and reached Manora at 10
o’clock. From there we went to the island of manora by a boat. There, we selected a place
rather less crowded. In front of us there was an open sea. We spread our mat and sat over it.
Putting our eatables on the mat we jumped into the sea as the water of the sea was
attracting us. We swam till 1 o’clock. Then we came out of the sea. We changed our clothes
and sat on the mat to eat our lunch. The eatable items were delicious.
After lunch we relaxed for two hours. Again we went in the sea water and spent two hours in
the sea, swim and playing. At 5 o’clock we came out of the sea. We enjoyed a lot so were
happy. We snapped some photographs on the sea shore. We took cups of tea with biscuits.
[5]

After fifteen minutes we got ready to get back our homes. The atmosphere and the weather
was pleasant. We hired a taxi and moved to our homes.
This picnic we remember still.
{The end}

e) An Eid’s function:
It was Eid day, and our house was buzzing with excitement. My mom had prepared a delicious
feast, complete with kebabs, biryani, and sheer qorma.
As the guests started arriving, the atmosphere became even more festive. Everyone was
dressed in their new Eid clothes, and the air was filled with the sound of laughter and Eid
Mubarek greetings.
My brother had done a wonderful job decorating the house. The interior and exterior were
adorned with colorful lights and flowers, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance.
When it was time to serve the food, everyone gathered around the dining table. My mom had
prepared a vast array of dishes.
As we sat down to eat, my mom served the food with a warm smile. Everyone praised the
food, and my mom’s hard work was evident in every bite.
After lunch, we indulged in traditional Eid sweets and dry fruits. The room was filled with
chatter and laughter as we savored the delicious treats.
As the day drew to a close, we gathered for a group photo. Everyone was beaming with joy,
and the atmosphere was filled with love and gratitude.
As the guests began to leave, we bid each other farewell, exchanging Eid Mubarek greetings
once again. It was a truly unforgettable Eid celebration, filled with love, laughter, and
delicious food.
