Praying with Jesus

OBJECTIVES

HOOK

God is a loving Father . He loves us do much and He is always with us


especially during this time of pandemic. Let us pray to God to help us
cope with our situation now and be able to fulfill our responsibility as a
pupil and as a teacher. You may now pray the prayer that Jesus has
taught us.(Make the Sign of the Cross)
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heave
Give us today our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil. Amen.

INTRODUCTION
Hello my dear Grade 3 pupil, how are you? I hope you are excited today as
you begin your class in Christian Living. I am Sr. Cheryl D. Lamdagan, a
Franciscan Missionary Sister of the Infant Jesus. I will be your teacher in this
subject. Welcome for this School Year 2020-2021. We have a new set up of
class this year, which means that during this school year, you will have your
class in your house or you will study in your house with the help of your
parents or guardian. You are not allowed to go out of your house in order
that you will be protected from corona virus. I hope you will be happy to
know Jesus more in each lesson. In spite of hardship we now encountering in
this time of pandemic. Let us pray to Jesus that this will end soon.

Story telling of I-Listen


Read the Gospel Story Matthew 6: 7-15
Kindly read the Gospel Story: Matthew 6:7-15., Jesus taught us how to pray. Jesus was
asked by His disciples to teach them how to pray. Jesus taught them a beautiful prayer
known as the Lord’s Prayer. Then answer the questions below the story.
