Telecom Network Monitoring System –

Functional and Data Overview Report

1. Label Selection Capabilities
Users can customize the data view using a wide range of labels, depending on their
operational or analytical needs. The system supports dynamic selection of: Sites, Labels,
Cells, Map, Summary, Access, Temperature, Availability, Visits, Incidents, Changes, Alarms.
This enables users to tailor the displayed information for targeted diagnostics, planning,
and reporting.

2. Input Capabilities
Input fields are flexible and support various identifiers to fetch specific network data:
Multiple Sites, Cell ID, LAC, EnodeB, Numbers, BSC (Base Station Controller). These options
allow precise querying of network elements for both centralized and distributed
architectures.

3. Search Results – Available Data Sections

3.1 Site Information

Fields: Site ID, JVCO-ID, MOCN Status, Host, Band Details. Purpose: Identifies the site and
outlines its network role and configuration for radio access.

3.2 Site Label Information

Fields: Operator, Type, Subtype, Switch, Internal & External IP. Purpose: Helps classify and
route the traffic and manage IP-level configurations.

3.3 Cell Information

Fields: Bearer, Tech Type, Cell Name, MOCN Enabled, Cell ID, LAC/TAC, Switch, EnodeB,
Vendor, OSS Manager, Function Status, Cell Status, Host, Bearing. Purpose: Provides a
comprehensive view of individual cell parameters, useful for both engineering and
performance teams.

3.4 Map
Details: Visual representation of Site and NBR (neighboring) site locations in satellite and
geographic views.
3.5 Cells Summary
Details: Total number of cells and COOS (Cell Out Of Service) counts. Purpose: Helps in quick
assessment of coverage and operational health.

3.6 Access Information

Details: Site address and power company details. Purpose: Crucial for logistics, field
maintenance, and energy-related planning.

3.7 Daily Cell Availability & Cabinet Temperatures

Purpose: Tracks environmental conditions and availability trends to identify potential risks
(e.g., overheating, hardware failure).

3.8 Cell Availability (Downtime in Seconds)

Fields: Bearer Tech Type, Cell Info, Site & Cabinet Info. Purpose: Analyzes cell stability and
downtime trends to guide maintenance priorities.

3.9 Site Visits

Fields: Visit Info, Engineer Name & Details, INC/CRQ Reference. Purpose: Tracks on-site
activities, resource allocation, and change records.

3.10 Incidents (Last 90 Days – Open & Resolved)

Fields: Incident Details, Summary, Status, Assignee, Assignee Group, Submit/Resolve Dates,
Resolution Status. Purpose: Provides a complete incident management log to assess
network health and responsiveness.

3.11 Changes (Scheduled and Past 90 Days)

Fields: Change Reference, Summary, Status, Schedules, Notes, Type of Work. Purpose:
Tracks all planned and executed changes to avoid conflicts and improve planning.

3.12 Site Alarms

Fields: Severity, Group, Grade, Date/Time. Purpose: Real-time and historical alarm tracking
to ensure proactive network management.

3.13 Touchpoint Metrics

Fields: Left Axis: Number of Call Attempts; Right Axis: CSSR (Call Setup Success Rate), DCR
(Drop Call Rate) Percentages. Purpose: Key performance indicators for network quality and
customer experience.

Conclusion
The system provides a comprehensive and modular interface to access critical network
insights, enabling teams to:
- Monitor network availability and health
- Manage field visits and incidents
- Track changes and alarms
- Analyze user experience KPIs like CSSR and DCR

This level of visibility ensures timely intervention, optimized resource planning, and a
proactive approach to network management.
