1 Scope of instruction

In case you suspect a problem with your CP SB1 device, it is possible to make some tests and save them.
Afterwards you can send these files via E-Mail to the OMICRON Technical Support.
This helps the support team finding a faster solution for the problem. Please also provide an error
description and serial number of the devices.

You can do the test either with the PTM (Omicron Primary Test Manager) or with the CPC100.

The check consists of three tests in order to check all HV and LV connections, as well as the tap control
(up/down):

 TTR Prim-Sec
 DC Winding Resistance Prim
 DC Winding Resistance Sec

neutral point.
The test is configured with a tap changer (OLTC) with two taps in order to verify the function of the tap
control contacts for the up and down direction switching process. The function can be checked with a
multimeter during the switching process.
