HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
Class -VII (2024-25)
Dear Parents,
The most awaited Summer Break is from 20th May to 30th June. As per forecast
by weather department the temperature will rise more and warm breeze (Loo)
will blow. We suggest the following to remain healthy and hydrated:
 Wear cotton clothes, Consume more liquids and water, Go for morning
walk and remain indoors. We want students to utilize this time by
reading newspapers, spending value time with elders and grandparents,
help parents with daily chores, watch informative TV channels such as
National Geographic and Discovery etc.
 Students have been given interesting, creative and knowledgeable
home work. Ensure that your ward does the task on his/her own using
innovative ideas. Parents are advised to guide their ward only.
Principal

ENGLISH
1. Read English Newspaper /or watch English news and write 5 headlines everyday in
a notebook.
2. Make 3d Art integrated Project on one of the following topics. (Research Based)
(In a scrap file)
I). Ancient kings ,literature, temples and architecture ,History related to it.
II) South Indian ,culture,literature & Cuisine.
III) North Eastern states of India and their culture,literature, cuisine,life style
3. Make 5 book marks with some inspirational quote written on them.
4. Prepare a scrap book .....use pictures etc. showing your experience good or bad,
fear ,interest, anecdote or excursion during summer vacation(can be both
previous or current)
5. Use your imagination and write a story (not copied from internet)and make a book
with a telltale cover. (In a scrap file)
6. Make a model of a gadget of your choice and write a Review of it in the A4 size sheet.
e.g, Smart Phone, Dress, Smart watch etc.
7. Make 5 sign boards using card boards, showing caution/warnings of the following topics :
I). School ahead, careful driving required II) Flammable liquids
III) Unplug ,power plug after use. IV)Biohazard
V) Radiation
8. Make 2 puppets and prepare a story/ social message using them in English .(this
activity will be done in the class)
9. Read any English short story of one of the following writers or any writer of your
choice and write a review of the story.(In note book)

1. Roll no-1 to 10 –
Prepare a model on Food and technology,(Refer book & Google).
Discuss with your parents and grandparents, the way to lead a healthy life.
Based on the discussion design a diet plan for the children of your age
group with tips and suggestion to lead a healthy life ( write in scrap file).
2. Roll no- 11-20-
Work on your self- healing power and write various ways to boost your
immune system. ( write in scrap file).
Prepare a model on universe and environment,(Refer book & Google).
3. Roll no- 21-30-
Make an attractive poster to promote “ blood donation- a noble cause”.
Write a note on a paper ‘ hydroponic’. ( in a scrap file)& Make related pictures or you can
paste pictures.
4. Roll no- 31-40
Prepare a report on Hh blood group, including its possibility of occurrence
in human, the one in whom it was observed first & the reason why it is not
common to know about this blood group? ( in a scrap file).
Make a model of a clinical thermometer using cardboard and paste it in A3 sheet.

5. Roll no- 41 to 50 & above

Make a model of photosynthesis.
Prepare a poster on ways of ‘ saving water’.
Write short note on compounds and mixtures.( write in scrap file).

1 .Make a 3D Client/Server Networking Model using waste material.

2. Create table of any 15 persons(Name and their Month wise salary) in Excel and basis of
that table create any 5 types of charts . Take printouts of the table and charts.
3. Make a PowerPoint Presentation on Sustainable development goals (SDG). You can take
any one goal of your choice and take print out of the same.
Note : Make a computer project file and keep all the printouts in the file.

Drawing

1.Do page no 77 Madhubani Art in A-3 size pastel sheet (Use only brush pen/ bold marker)
2.Do page no 78 in A-3 size pastel sheet.
