What stage do you think is the most critical part in the
animation process?
- I think the most critical part is the Production
because it is the busiest phase when it comes to
animating that will take up a lot of time making sure
that each frame doesn’t have any mistakes before it
gets colored and edited, finalizing the final output.

- In this lesson I have learned the workflow of animation


needs to be understood because the more you know about
the process the better the outcome will be. We start of
first with developing our ideas that we want to deliver to
our audience following comes the Pre-production the
phase of more developing the idea that includes the
script, storyboard, animatics and character design, After
gathering all that we will know start the production which
is said to be the longest and busiest phase of an
animation project that has key animators draw the key
drawings “key” or “important” in a scene using character
layouts as guide while clean-up animators makes the
drawing more detailed and presentable. Inbetweeners
then draw whatever that is missing in between so it can
be approved by the director and be colored and ready to
enter the post-production that is mostly editing giving
more color correction and spotting mistakes adding the
music and sound effects making sure every frame of the
film is correct for the final output.

As an Animation student, what is the significance of understanding the animation workflow in the
animation industry? -As an animation student it is important for us to understand the animation
workflow so that we can accomplish an animation knowing the proper steps to follow.

What is your best opinion of this lesson? Do you think the lesson is too easy or difficult? Why?
- My opinion on this lesson is that I’m amazed by the patience of everyone that goes through for
an animation project just looking at the process I feel that it will take a lot of hard work and time,
so I guess it is difficult but as long as you know what you are doing and enjoying it maybe it’s
worth it.
