As a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education continuously improves


itself to better serve its stakeholders.

 Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating environment.


 Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner.
 Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and
supportive environment for effective learning to happen.

responsibility for developing life-long learners.

The Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the Department of Education serve as the
guiding light and foundation for all stakeholders in the pursuit of quality education. These
principles reflect the collective dream of producing graduates who are patriotic, skilled,
values-oriented, and productive members of society.

Filipino children are the future of our nation. Educational institutions play a vital role
in shaping, nurturing, and guiding them to become responsible and successful individuals.
Instilling love of country and the essential values of a true Filipino citizen is crucial in building
a peaceful and progressive society.

Every child holds unique potential. Schools must provide opportunities to help
learners discover and enhance these potentials, not only for their personal growth but also to
contribute meaningfully to their community and the country at large. Academic and non-
academic contests at the school level should be utilized to nurture and showcase the learners'
talents and skills.

Teachers play a critical role in encouraging and inspiring students to actively engage
in various activities. Through their support, learners can uncover their strengths, improve their
weaknesses, and grow into capable individuals who will shape the future of our country.

Ultimately, DepEd's Vision, Mission, and Core Values guide all stakeholders in
performing their responsibilities and fulfilling their roles in implementing programs and
initiatives. This collaboration ensures that learners are equipped with the competencies
needed to succeed and serve the nation as responsible and empowered citizens.
