After your documents have been submitted
Once we have received all the required information above, your file will be submitted to the University by the InUni
team for review by Canterbury Christ Church University Admission’s Team
The next stage will involve one of the following:
- An official offer letter issued by Canterbury Christ Church University via email with an invite for you to pay your
course deposit. Once this payment has been made, Canterbury Christ Church University can issue a
Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) needed for your student visa application.
- An interview with a faculty member if you have applied for a course requiring an interview as part of the
admission process.
Please note further information regarding your Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) application may be
requested with the CCCU offer letter. Your unique student ID number for Canterbury Christ Church University will be
noted within the University offer letter and should be used for any direct communication with them.
An unsuccessful decision would only happen when we cannot verify your documents or there are concerns about your
ability to make a successful visa application.
After receiving your official Canterbury Christ Church University offer, you can confirm your acceptance, apply for
student accommodation, and pay your course tuition fee deposit.
▪ Please do not make any course deposit payments until you have received an unconditional offer letter from
the University.
▪ All payments should be made using the CCCU student ID only. (Please note that this number is not
mentioned within this document and will be generated once Canterbury Christ Church University
reviews your records, and an unconditional offer letter is issued). The number will be stated at the top of
the letter and will begin with 1000XXXX).
▪ Please do not pay through a 3rd party but use your own/sponsor’s/guardian’s details only.
▪ Failure to comply with the above may lead to severe delays with your application or unsuccessful payment
allocation.
Your student visa application
Before applying for your student visa, you must have passed all academic and financial conditions and paid your
course tuition fee deposit. You will need to submit copies of your financial evidence to show you meet the UKVI
requirements and have a credibility Interview with Canterbury Christ Church University before your CAS is Issued.
The Compliance Team at Canterbury Christ Church University will decide on whether your CAS can be issued.
Accommodation
You can apply for accommodation once you have received and accepted a firm offer to study at Canterbury Christ

Please ensure you book and secure all accommodation before travelling to the UK and ensure it is within 30 minutes
of travel distance from the Canterbury Christ Church University campus. Failure to do so will lead to disappointment
upon arrival as spaces on campus are limited and provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
