For over 15 years, College has helped boys and girls emerge into young, confident
students who are good citizens and honest beings. I feel very privileged and honoured to be
the Founder Principal of this exciting twenty first century college – ISO Degree college. My
vision for Iso Degree College is to create an environment in which every student can thrive
in a learning community that values the development of a person as a whole.
Academic Excellence is a strategic pillar and a core value at ISO Degree college. We
recognize that our success as an institution of higher learning depends on our ability to
embrace, value, and appreciate the diversity of students, staff, faculty, administrators, and
alumni across our campus.

collaborates with interested learners outside the college. ISO DEGREE COLLEGE

The college has an efficient quality improvement approach that includes ‘Plan, Act,
Review and Improve’. This approach is to bring continuous improvement across the
academic and operational functions. The University highlights its commitment to
continuous improvement by:

 Planning and budget processes, performance reporting methods. These


methods measure the performance at all aspects on a scale of crucial
indicators.

 Periodical reviews of academic departments, policies, and courses

 Conducting thorough student, graduate, and stakeholder surveys. these


surveys aim to improve the quality of teaching and learning experience

 Regular monitoring and analysing student learning progress across all


teaching units

 Regular internal-external audits and reviews. The college strives forward with
a primary focus of catering quality knowledge to all its students. This college
aims through its centre, initiatives, and exchange programs. It further

This College manages University-level processes aligned to:

 Qualitative learning and teaching,

 Academic policies review and enhancement,

 Evaluation of subject and teacher, and

 Review of appeals made by student academic complaints.

The college imparts administrative support for the University Education Committee
and the various sub committees.. ‘

Learning and Pedagogy go hand in hand. Efficient pedagogy includes several


advanced learning techniques like entire-class experience and structured group
collaboration. Pedagogy caters to a diverse range of learners and gives equality in
education techniques to the students.

CURRICULUM AND PEDAGOGY

The college aims at establishing an environment of learning with the 3Es- Equity,
Efficiency, and Excellence. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced
“Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)” with the hope that all college will adopt these
measures to enhance academic standards. To encourage and boost an equitable
learning experience for its students, The college partially adopted the CBCS policy.
A select committee for a comprehensive action plan was also formulated to provide
for its students a wholesome experience of learning and growing in a platform that is
‘just’ and ‘non-partisan.’ The community learning at ISO connects fellow students
and alumni across different interests and courses. It also helps boost learning and
growing personally and intellectually, leading to deeper bonds that last a lifetime.

TEACHING PEDAGOGY
The pedagogy is induced with an interactive session to create an intuitive ambiance
and stands apart as it encourages communication and activity-based learning for
better learning outcomes among students. The faculty at Iso degree college are
driven and motivated to continually create an atmosphere to assist and evaluate
learning through Gap Analysis. The faculty emphasizes special attention to the
background, parents’ support, counselling, communication, and aptitude verification
of students. It provides feedback analysis of students to magnify its transparency
and authenticity. The use of arts and innovative ways soar all expectations. The
extra co-curricular activities include sporting events that develop a teamwork spirit
and leadership by cheering and winning together towards victory. Other campus
recreational activities at the college include fitness, wellness opportunities for
students like intramural sports, club sports, instructional programming fitness
centre, comprehensive counselling, fitness, and medical services.

 Creating an encouraging environment in which students are supported in their


learning

communication skills, attitude and experiences etc.

EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING

The college continually strives to cultivate substantial learning depth by associating

graduates. It is coupled with frequent on-field learning like visits to industries and
