its goals.
6. Tell me about a time you had to deliver disappointment news?
During my internship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, I had to inform my supervisor that a critical
part for an aircraft maintenance project would be delayed due to unforeseen supplier issues. I understood
that this would impact the project timeline, so I carefully gathered all the necessary information,
including potential solutions to mitigate the delay.
When delivering the news, I was transparent and straightforward, explaining the reason for the delay and
its potential impact on the overall project. I also provided alternative options, such as sourcing from a
backup supplier or adjusting other project timelines to minimize disruption. By focusing on solutions
and maintaining a calm, professional tone, I was able to manage the situation effectively and help the
team move forward despite the setback. This experience taught me the importance of clear
communication and being proactive when delivering difficult news.
7. Tell me about a time you faced conflict in a team ?
During my time working on a group project in my Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing
program, we faced a conflict regarding task delegation. One team member felt that their workload was
disproportionately high compared to others, which led to frustration and tension within the group. To
address the issue, I organized a team meeting where everyone could openly discuss their concerns. I
encouraged each member to share their perspective and actively listened to ensure we understood the
root of the problem. It became clear that the conflict stemmed from miscommunication and differing
expectations regarding responsibilities. I proposed that we redistribute tasks based on each member’s
strengths and availability, ensuring a fairer balance. We also agreed to set clearer milestones and check-
ins to avoid future misunderstandings. By facilitating an open dialogue and focusing on collaboration,
we were able to resolve the conflict. This experience reinforced the value of communication and
proactive conflict resolution in teamwork.
8. Tell me about a time you had to explain something complex?
During my work on a crack detection project in aircraft wings, I had to explain the concept of using
Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for image-based crack detection to team members who were
not familiar with machine learning. The topic was technical and required a breakdown of complex ideas
like feature extraction, layers in a neural network, and transfer learning.
I started by relating it to something more familiar, like how the human brain processes visual
information, explaining that the CNN works similarly by identifying patterns in images. Then, I
simplified the process of how the model trains by analyzing labeled images to recognize cracks.
To make it clearer, I used visuals and analogies, ensuring I avoided jargon and technical terms. I also
encouraged questions and provided examples of how the model would be integrated into the overall
stress analysis of the aircraft. By breaking down the explanation into manageable steps, I was able to
help my team understand the core idea, which allowed us to move forward efficiently with the project.
9. What was the toughest challenge you have faced?
The challenge was not only to ensure the accuracy of the detection model but also to integrate it
seamlessly with stress analysis and fatigue tolerance assessments for aircraft safety. We needed to find
the right machine learning algorithm that could balance both precision and speed, given the importance
of minimizing aircraft downtime. The most difficult part was choosing the most effective model for
detecting cracks. After evaluating multiple machine learning and deep learning algorithms, including
traditional methods, I realized none were performing optimally. I then shifted focus to using
Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and explored transfer learning. The time pressure and the
complexity of integrating machine learning with the broader aircraft maintenance system made the task
challenging. However, through persistence, collaboration with my team, and continuous
experimentation, we developed a model that not only detected cracks with high accuracy but also
supported the stress and fatigue analysis. This experience taught me resilience, problem-solving under
pressure, and the value of interdisciplinary collaboration.
10. Tell me about a time when you made mistake?
During my internship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, I made a mistake while preparing a report on
aircraft maintenance procedures. I misunderstood certain technical data related to the inspection
schedule, which led to an incorrect recommendation being included in the report. Although the error was
caught before it had any major impact, it was a crucial learning moment for me.
Once I realized the mistake, I immediately informed my supervisor, took responsibility, and corrected
the report. I then double-checked all the data and consulted with colleagues to ensure everything was
accurate. Additionally, I made it a point to improve my attention to detail by reviewing technical
documents more carefully and seeking clarification when needed.
This experience taught me the importance of owning up to mistakes quickly, being proactive in fixing
them, and learning from them to avoid similar issues in the future.
11. How do you handle pressure?
When handling pressure, I focus on staying calm and organized. I begin by breaking down the situation
into manageable tasks, prioritizing what needs to be done immediately and what can wait. By taking
things step by step, I avoid feeling overwhelmed.
I also use techniques like deep breathing and staying mindful to maintain composure, which helps me
stay focused and think more clearly. Additionally, I remind myself that pressure is temporary and view it
as an opportunity to challenge myself and grow. By keeping a positive mindset and staying disciplined,
I’m able to handle stressful situations effectively without letting them affect my performance or well-
being.
12. What motivates you?
I’m motivated by the opportunity to solve complex problems and make a meaningful impact. I find great
satisfaction in tackling challenges, whether it’s developing innovative solutions, improving processes, or
learning new skills. The sense of accomplishment that comes from overcoming obstacles and achieving
goals drives me to push my boundaries and strive for excellence.
Additionally, working on projects that contribute to a larger purpose, such as enhancing safety or
improving efficiency, gives me a strong sense of purpose and fulfillment. I’m also motivated by
continuous learning and personal growth. The chance to acquire new knowledge, refine my skills, and
adapt to new technologies or methodologies keeps me engaged and enthusiastic about my work.
Ultimately, the combination of problem-solving, contributing to meaningful outcomes, and ongoing
learning fuels my motivation and drives me to perform at my best.
13. Tell me about a time when you were under pressure at work. What was the situation and how did
you get through it?
During my internship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, I was under significant pressure when we faced
an unexpected delay in a critical aircraft maintenance project due to a supply chain issue. This delay
threatened to impact our project timeline and potentially affect the operational readiness of the aircraft.
To manage the situation, I first assessed the scope of the delay and its potential impact on the project. I
prioritized immediate actions, such as informing key stakeholders about the issue and gathering all
relevant information. I then worked with the team to identify alternative solutions, such as sourcing parts
from backup suppliers and adjusting the maintenance schedule.
Throughout the process, I maintained open communication with the team and stakeholders, providing
regular updates and coordinating efforts to minimize the impact of the delay. I also made sure to stay
calm and focused, breaking down the tasks into manageable steps to ensure we addressed each aspect of
the issue systematically.
By staying organized, proactive, and transparent, we were able to mitigate the impact of the delay and
keep the project on track. This experience reinforced the importance of problem-solving under pressure
and the value of teamwork and effective communication in overcoming challenges.

One aspect of my life that isn’t reflected in my CV is my interest in spirituality. I have a deep
appreciation for the practices and philosophies that guide personal growth and well-being. I regularly
engage in mindfulness and meditation, which help me maintain balance, clarity, and a positive outlook
in all aspects of my life. Spirituality plays a significant role in how I approach challenges and interact
with others. It fosters a sense of inner peace and resilience, allowing me to stay centered even during
stressful times. This personal practice also enhances my empathy and ability to connect with people on a
deeper level, supporting my overall well-being and personal development. By integrating these practices
into my daily life, I am able to cultivate a sense of purpose and fulfillment that enriches both my
personal and professional experiences.
