Data acquisition
13. What is data?Explain the two types of data.
Ans- Data is a piece of raw information or facts and statistics together for
reference or analysis.
Types-
-> Training data- It is the data on which an AI model is trained.
-> Testing data- It is the data used to check the performance of an AI model.

14. What are the data features? Give examples.

Ans- Data features refer to the types of data that is collected.
Eg. Roll No, Name of student, Date of birth, Date of admission, etc are the data
features for students data set.

15. Mention the sources to collect the data.

Ans. -> Surveys
-> Web scraping
-> Sensors
-> Cameras
-> Observations
-> API(Application Programming Interface)

16. Mention any two government portals to collect data.

Ans. -> data.gov.in
-> india.gov.in

17. What is a system map?

Ans- A system map is a visual representation that shows the components of a
system and how they interact or relate to one another.

Data Exploration
18. What is data exploration?
Ans. Data exploration is the process of examining, analyzing, and summarizing a
dataset to understand its structure, patterns, relationships, and potential issues
before applying machine learning or statistical modeling.

19. What is data visualisation?

Ans. It is the part of the data exploration stage of the AI Project cycle used to
represent the data in graphical form.
20. Why do we need to explore and visualise data?
Ans- We need to explore and visualise the data for the following reasons-
-> to understand the trends
-> To decide the type of model
-> To comprehend the data easily
-> To communicate the large amount of data to the audience easily.

21. Mention a few data visualization techniques.

Ans. -> Bar Graph
-> Line chart
-> Area graph
-> Pie chart
-> Histogram
-> Bubble chart
-> Radar chart
-> Tree diagram
-> Scatter plot
-> Donut chart
