INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION
Your class wants to initiate a campaign to reduce and
control household garbage in your community. Use the
survey provided and collect data from at least ten
different households in your area to assist your class to
decide which method would be used during the
campaign. Submit the surveys that the households have
completed with your report.
You will use the information gathered from these surveys to complete a tally chart to
record the data collected and draw a bar graph to illustrate the data shown in the tally
chart.
You will also develop your own questionnaire that will gather information on recycling of
household waste.

PART A
After receiving back all 10 surveys, answer the following questions.
1. Copy and complete the following tally chart in your report based on the answers
you got back from the survey. (Section B – Question 6) (9)
2. Draw a bar graph to illustrate the data shown in the tally chart. Name the axes

4. You are required to develop a questionnaire that will gather information on
recycling of household waste. Develop five questions, the different question
types must be responded to by either a Yes/No or multiple choice (with at least
four choices). The survey will be assessed using the rubric below. Please submit
