AIP WORKSHOP Q2 REPORT

 TRACTORS
 MF6712 Electrical control box was repaired by Farmec.
 Servicing of Belarus 820 and Tafe 1015 tractor was done except for MF6712 tractor
which is not yet due for service.
 All tractors are functional except for Belarus 850 still waiting for the procurement of
the requested Clutch assembly components.

 OTHER EQUIPMENTS
 Servicing of Hino truck was done. Repairing of front leaf springs was done.
 All generator needs service kits; we are performing routine check-ups to avoid
breakdowns. (Serviced Mucheke 30, Mucheke 50 and land 60 generator currently
waiting for the procurement of Mucheke 60 and Mucheke 20 generator service kits.
 Installation of lower control arms and ball joints were done for Toyota lite-ace.
 Potatoes lifter harvester nuts were purchased was done
 Repaired tobacco baler machine damaged leadscrew nut was done.
 Repairing of barn electrical motor fan and duct housing was done for bay 7.
 Packing of asbestos gland at Muchekeranwa 100hp pump was done and no leakages.
 Replaced F208-24 bearings and damaged sieves on grinding mill.
 The 18 dish Caesar disc harrow need a new disc mounting shaft, oil bath components
and a new leaf spring for it to be functional.
 The Four Dish William Bain plough needs new mushrooms hubs; and sets of bearing
for it to be functional. A set of plough disc was procured, waiting for the remaining
items.
 Toyota lite-ace small truck is functional.
 Dismantling of Mucheke dam centrifugal pump damaged components was done
currently waiting for the procurement of the items needed.
 The received Yamaha 125XTZ bike 01 is functional.
 Received a 600litres Bain boom sprayer and it's functional.
 Milling and fetching of firewood for DAC’s was being carried out without fail
 Repairing of Mucheke 20 generator work is in progress need a new high pressure
pump to obtain functionality.
 Currently they are need for procurement of batteries for Pedistock generator, Toyota
lite –ace and Tafe 1015 tractor.
 Installation of AIV Laboratory door was done.
 Repairing of bar door lock for AIP lecture hall was done.
 Performing of daily tractor operations as per section is being done without fail.

 Land preparation
 land preparation for commercial potatoes was done, discing and ridging at Mucheke
50.
 Land preparation and wheat planting at Mucheke 20 wheat trial was carried out.
 Land preparation for wheat at land 60 was done, planted 30ha of wheat.
