molecular mass is 108 mg/mole. Find the molecular formula.

emitted with a kinetic energy of 1.68 ´ 105 J mol–1. What is the minimum energy needed to remove
an electron from sodium ? What is the maximum wavelength that will cause a photoelectron to be
emitted ?

8. An ion with mass number 56 contains 3 units of positive charge and 30.4% more neutrons than
electrons. Assign the symbol to this ion.

mol–1 and –285.83 kJ mol–1 respectively.
18. Integral constant of the reaction 2A + B ƒ 3C at 300 K is 0.5. If the standard enthalpy of formation
of B and C are –25 and –15 kJ mol–1 then find the enthalpy of formation of A. (R = 8.314 J/mol K)
