CORE HAPPENINGS

JJCET ALUMNI MEET - 12/07/2025 BATCHES - 1994, 95 & 96

The JJCET Alumni Meet 2025 was held on 12th July 2025 with great enthusiasm
and warmth, bringing together the proud alumni of the 1994, 1995, and 1996
batches. The reunion was a memorable occasion filled with nostalgia, joy, and
heartfelt moments.
The event was graced by the esteemed Chairman, Vice Chairman, Principal, and
several retired and long-serving faculty members, who were warmly welcomed by
the alumni. Their presence added a special charm to the occasion, as many former
students had the opportunity to reconnect with the mentors who had once shaped
their academic journeys.
The programme commenced with a traditional welcome and lighting of the lamp,
followed by inspiring addresses by the Chairman and Vice Chairman, who
emphasized the significance of alumni contributions to the institution’s growth.
The Principal and senior faculty members shared updates on recent
developments at JJCET and highlighted future plans for institutional excellence.
Alumni took turns sharing their career experiences, personal milestones, and
fond memories of their college days.
Cultural performances by current students, campus visits, and interactive
sessions fostered a spirit of belonging and togetherness.
Crucial Moments

PLACEMENT TRAINING ORIENTATION PROGRAMME ON 10/07/2025

A Placement Training Orientation Programme was organized on 10th


July 2025 for the Second-year students of the 2024–2028 batch with the
objective of introducing them to the fundamentals of placement preparation
and career planning. The programme aimed to create awareness about the
expectations of the corporate world, the importance of skill development, and
the roadmap for placement readiness. Students were briefed on various
aspects of the recruitment process, including aptitude training, soft skills,
communication, resume building, and interview etiquette. Experienced
trainers and resource persons emphasized the need to start early in preparing
for competitive placement drives and highlighted the key qualities sought
after by top recruiters. The orientation served as a motivational and
informative session, encouraging students to focus on consistent efforts and
continuous learning. The session received positive feedback from the
participants and marked .
STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

13 students from 2nd Year CSE(Cyber Security) have participated in the


domain of AI at "SindhanAT'25, a National level 24-Hour Hackathon" organized
by SRM TRP Engineering College, Trichy on 14.07.2025. The Principal, Dr. P.
Mathiyalagan, and the, Dr.P.Vijayakumar, Dean (Computing Sciences)
appreciated the students for their active participation.

II Year Cyber Security students for participated in the offline round of


HackFinity 2025 a National level 24-Hours On-Campus Hackathon organized by
Department of Research and Innovation on July 2025 at SIMATS Engineering,
Chennai. The Principal, Dr. P. Mathiyalagan, and the, Dr.P. Vijayakumar, Dean
(Computing Sciences) appreciated the students for their active participation.
