ABSTRACT
This report encapsulates the comprehensive learning journey through active participation in the
AICTE Activity Point Programme, undertaken between 2021 and 2025. The activities covered a
wide range of domains including technical education, community service, environmental
sustainability, healthcare awareness, and event management. Through participation in workshops,
internships, social drives, and cultural fests, the program fostered both technical acumen and social
consciousness.
Notable engagements included volunteering at national symposiums, health awareness camps, and a
government research organization (DRDO). These experiences not only strengthened subject-matter
expertise in computer science but also cultivated critical soft skills like leadership, teamwork, ethical
responsibility, and civic engagement. This report provides a detailed overview of the activities,
technologies used, best practices aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the
professional growth achieved.
`
Chapter - 1
Introduction
This report documents the various extracurricular and co-curricular activities undertaken during the
academic years 2021-2025. These activities encompass a diverse range of experiences, including
technical workshops, symposium volunteering, social service initiatives, etc
Participation in these activities has significantly contributed to the holistic development of
professional skills, teamwork abilities, leadership qualities, and social responsibility awareness.
Technical and Cultural Event Participation: I actively participated in BMS College of
Engineering’s flagship cultural fest, Utsav-Envisage, engaging in a diverse set of events such as
“Vistaar” (2022), “Cadenza” (2022), “Mirage” (2023), “Duo Dash”, “Exit Strategy”, “Fly-in Fiesta”,
and “Prathidhwani” (2024). These experiences allowed me to explore creative problem-solving, team
collaboration, and out-of-the-box thinking. I also took the stage in “Last Actor Standing,” where I
honed my performance and public speaking skills.
Event Management and Leadership: I served as the Event Coordinator for “Battle of Bands” and
“LiveWire 2.0” during Utsav 2024, where I led teams in organizing and executing large-scale cultural
events. Additionally, I took on the role of Club Coordinator for Ninaad from August 2023 to August
2024. These roles strengthened my leadership, planning, and communication abilities while giving
me hands-on experience in managing people and logistics under pressure.
Technical Excellence and Competitive Exposure: In January 2024, I represented my college at the
prestigious ICPC Chennai Regionals, where I competed against top programmers from across the
country. Preparing for and participating in this globally recognized competition sharpened my
algorithmic thinking and solidified my foundation in data structures and problem-solving.
Internship and Industry Engagement: From May to August 2024, I interned at Corvid India Pvt
Ltd, where I applied my technical knowledge to real-world projects. This experience exposed me to
industry practices, software development workflows, and collaborative engineering, helping me
bridge the gap between academic theory and professional application.
Environmental and Social Responsibility: On 3rd December 2023, I dedicated over 40 hours to the
Green Sundays initiative, contributing to environmental sustainability through plantation drives and
`
clean-up activities. I also actively engaged in other social outreach efforts led by the college’s NSS
unit, affirming my commitment to giving back to the community.
Cultural Expression and Team Participation: I explored my creative side through various cultural
performances, including “Prathidhwani” in Utsav 2024, which allowed me to collaborate with peers,
express myself artistically, and contribute to a vibrant student community. These experiences helped
me develop a well-rounded personality and a strong sense of teamwork.
