b. Calculate the number of radios it would have had to produce for an increase of 12%.

19. By selling an article for ₦2,175, a man makes a profit of 16%:


a. Calculate how much the article cost.
b. For how much should he have sold it to make a profit of 28%.

20. In April, Mrs. Ezeaku bought a bag of corn for ₦2,400. When she wanted to buy more in
June, she found that she could only buy 3/5 of a bag for ₦2,400.
