1. What is your favorite line from the songs "My Way by Frank Sinatra" and "Born
This Way by Lady Gaga'? Why is it your favorite?
ANSWER:
My favorite line from the song “My Way by Frank Sinatra” is the line “when I
bit off more than I could chew” because for me, the meaning of this segment is
that a person who boasts a lot or it determines a person that is excessively
arrogant or behaves in an arrogant way, because there are times that we are
making promises with other person when we are happy, even though there is no
possibility that we can grant or we can fulfill the promise that we made, so it is
important for us to better think first before we speak!, While my favorite line in the
song “Baby I Was Born This Way by Lady Gaga” is “I’m beautiful in my way
because God make no mistakes” because it told us to be proud of ourselves,
whether the color of your skin, the color of your hair, where you came from, and
even your gender it doesn’t matter. All we need is to accept one self and to be
more confident to ourselves.

2. Do the songs suggest choice or freedom? Explain your answer.

ANSWER:
Both songs suggest freedom but one is the freedom to choose your path
(My Way by Frank Sinatra ), and the other is the freedom to be your true self
(Born This Way by Lady Gaga ). One looks back with pride and the other looks
forward with fire. And together, they form a powerful duet across generations. It is
important for us to remember that whether you’re carving your own road or
dancing in your own skin, freedom begins with self-trust.

3. If a beast (like a dog) could sing the same song, could the dog be honestly
singing what the song expresses? Why or why not?
ANSWER:
For example, a little puppy with its wagging tail and flopping ears, singing
Lady Gaga’s song “I’m beautiful in my way, ’cause God makes no mistakes.”
That’s it! because dogs don’t mind for being who they are. They don’t hide their
joy, their fear, and their affection. They live in the moment in unfiltered and
unashamed. In that sense, “Born This Way” fits perfectly it’s because dog doesn’t
need to justify its quirks or its breed. Whether it’s a poodle or a street-smart stray,
it embodies the message “I am enough, just as I am”.
