6. Mortgage – noun: Hipoteca, a legal arrangement by which you borrow money from a
bank or similar organization in order to buy a house, and pay back the money over a
period of years
7. Plumber – noun: Plomero, someone whose job is to repair water pipes, baths, toilets
etc
8. Queue – noun: Cola, fila; a line of people waiting to enter a building, buy something
etc, or a line of vehicles waiting to move
9. Receipt – noun: Recibo, a piece of paper that you are given which shows that you have
paid for something
10. Sword – noun: Espada, a weapon with a long pointed blade and a handle
11. Vicious – adjetive: Vicioso, violent and cruel in a way that hurts someone physically
12. Womb – noun: Matriz, útero; the part of a woman’s or female animal’s body where

13. Yacht – noun: Yate, a large boat with a sail, used for pleasure or sport, especially one
that has a place where you can sleep
14. Debt – noun: Deuda, a sum of money that a person or organization owes
15. Knock – verb: Tocar la puerta, to hit a door or window with your closed hand to attract
the attention of the people inside
