Một số dấu hiệu nhận biết thì hiện tại tiếp diễn phổ biến như sau:

Trạng từ chỉ thời gian

Now: Bây giờ

Right now: Ngay bây giờ

At the moment: Lúc này

At present: Hiện tại

At + giờ cụ thể: Lúc … giờ

Quy tắc gấp đôi phụ âm cuối khi thêm ING: Với động từ 1 âm tiết, tận
cùng bằng “Nguyên âm + Phụ âm” (Trừ h, w, x, y), ta gấp đôi phụ âm
và thêm ING.
