COURSE:Nursing
5th Semester
DISCIPLINE: Clinical Practice of the Care Process in Adult Health
4.5 hours/classes
SEMESTER WORKLOAD: 90 hours

I–SUMMARY
The Clinical Practice Discipline of Caring Process in Adult Health
it underpins the professional training process by providing a foundation
theoretical and practical for the actions of caregiving in the realms of assistance to
individual, emphasizing the clinical evaluation and the determination of demands
caring, product of interaction with the customer, interdisciplinary team and context
organizational.

II – GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for adults in
different scenarios of the nurse's performance, training them for evaluation
clinic, investigation and decision-making through the articulation of
theoretical contents learned, adopting the nursing process as
work methodology.

III–SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The skills to be developed during Clinical Practices are:
. Understand and execute the Phases of the Nursing Process:
Investigation, Diagnosis, Care Plan, Implementation and Evaluation.
. Analyze clinical situations that require decision-making.
. Search for clinical solutions in the specialized nursing literature.
. Manage customer needs with the devices.
administrative and operational of the institution.
. Relate and share the clinical assessment and interventions
scheduled with the other members of the group and with the professionals
in Health Institutions.
. Carry out educational actions with the adult.

IV–PROGRAM CONTENT

Lesson 1: Theory - Nursing Process - historical aspects, structure of


Nursing classifications (Nanda I, NIC, and NOC). Exposure of
biosafety principles.
Practice - Exposure of the rules related to the use of the laboratory and
division of practice groups.

Lesson 2: Theoretical - Basic human needs: hygiene and comfort.


Practice - Oral hygiene, body hygiene, bed composition, disinfection
competitor.
Class 3: Theory - Nursing Practice in front of individuals with ailments
respiratory.
Practice - Clinical cases, display of materials related to oxygenation,
manual assisted ventilation, tracheal intubation.

Class 4: Practice - Clinical cases, presentation of materials related to


oxygenation, manual assisted ventilation, tracheal intubation.

Lesson 5: Theory - Nursing Practice in the face of individuals with conditions


cardiovascular.

Class 6: Practice - Clinical cases related to nursing care in


cardiology, venipuncture practice.

Lesson 7: Theory - Routes of medication administration: oral, subcutaneous,


intravenous, intradermal, intramuscular, rectal.

Lesson 8: Practice - Routes of medication administration.
