I SESSION:
OBJECTIVE: To uncondition the pregnant woman from her fears about the
gestation, childbirth and postpartum.
ACTIVITIES
Reception and welcome of the participating pregnant women.
Provide information about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Dialoguing about myths and beliefs surrounding pregnancy,
labor and postpartum
Assess the importance and benefits of psychoprophylaxis in the
pregnancy.
Importance of fear-free childbirth.
Agree on a schedule for attendance and information of the
content of the sessions.

II SESSION
Promote self-care measures among pregnant women.
ACTIVITIES:
Provide information about human reproduction and
fetal development.
Promote special care during pregnancy:
Nutrition and diet, clothing, hygiene, sexual activity, others.
Emphasize the knowledge of the warning signs of pregnancy,
childbirth and postpartum.
III SESSION
OBJECTIVE: To stimulate a positive attitude in the pregnant woman towards
labor.

Teach the symptoms and signs of the onset of labor and their
phases.
Encourage the active participation of the pregnant woman during the stage
of the dilation.
Training the pregnant woman to achieve positive reactions towards the
uterine contraction
Teach prenatal (intrauterine) stimulation technique
PRENATAL GYMNASTICS:
Localized exercises, breathing 1 (habitual breathing)
Relaxation technique.
IV SESSION
OBJECTIVE: Achieve a positive and active participation of the pregnant woman
in all the labor.
ACTIVITIES:
To inform about the successive stages of labor (dilation, expulsive)
and childbirth) and how to participate in each of them.
Promote skin-to-skin contact to stimulate the mother-baby bond.
