Late Night
INT.HOUSE NIGHT TIME
Gudiya (26) (teacher) and Ritesh (28) (corporate employee)
are newly married couple.
Gudiya waits for her husband she prepares dinner and doses
household chores.(sound of utensils water dripping and clock
sound 8-9-10-11) and she listens music on mobile.

Rishabh comes at door presses bell gudiya opens the door
rishabh enters.
Gudiya - aaj itni late kaise ho gye
mai kab se dinner prepare kar k wait
kar Rahi hu ?
Rishabh - office mein kaam tha (he
puts his bag and removes shoes)
Gudiya - ok . Chalo dinner kar lo .
Rishabh - nahi tum kar lo mai bahar se
kar k aaya hu .(he enters in his room
and shuts the door ) gudiya gives
weird reaction

NEXT DAY INT. HOUSE NIGHT TIME
Gudiya - aaj phir itna late ho gaye
mai 8 baje se wait kar Rahi hu dinner
bhi thanda ho gya .
Rishabh - dekh roj roj mera wait mat
Kiya kar mai bahar kha leta hu .tu
dinner kar k so jaya kar .( In some
anger and frustration)
Gudiya - call bhi to kar
sakte......(rishabh shuts the door)

NEXT DAY INT. HOUSE NIGHT TIME
Gudiya ready with dinner and waits for rishabh ,calls him but
he doesn't pick the call .gudiya sleeps on table clock rings
11 ' o' clock she suddenly wakes up rishabh doesn't come she
calls him doesn't pick she again gets up and sleeps on sofa
and it's 2' o' clock he doesn't come .............
NEXT DAY INT. HOUSE MORNING TIME
(News papers seller voice, bycle bell ring ,birds ,vegetable
venders,kabadi wala ,motor cycle,bus , pressure cooker sounds
in background)
Sudden door bell rings gudiya opens the door rishabh enters .
Gudiya - aaj to raat bhr nahi aaye
maine kitne phone try kiye ek bar bhi
pick nhi Kiya ......kyu?
Rishabh - kyu Kiya phone ?kisne kaha
tha karne k liye ?maine kaha tha na so
Jaya Karo .
Gudiya - lekin aisa kaun sa office hai
jaha itna busy rahte ho ki phone Tak
receive nahi kr skte ?
Rishabh - hmm ! Nahi uthaya phone nahi
Kiya call back to ...meri marji jo man
hoga o karunga .
( rishabh shuts the door gudiya find her self lonely helpless
and weird)

Shanta - hmm didi! mai kal hi aayi
gaav se...
(enters in house and doesn't find
rishabh looking around)
Rishabh bhaiya dikhayi nahi de rhe
Ghar mein nahi hai kya ?
Gudiya - nahi .
Shanta - (moping the floor) didi!!aap
bura na Mane to ek baat bolu !ye
rishabh bhaiya ka kuch samjh nahi aata
mujhe ! Mai pahle jaha kaam karti thi
o bhi office bol k raat raat bhar
gayab rahta tha.
Didi aaj bhaiya aaye to pooch k hi
rhna ki .....
Door bell rings maid opens the door rishabh enters and he is
tired
Gudiya - aaj phir kaha the raat bhar ?
( with anger )
Rishabh - bataya to tha ki company k
kaam se jana pdta hai .
Gudiya - jara ! Mujhe bhi baat karao
mujhe bhi to pta chle kaun se office
project k liye raat bhar bahar aur
subah hote hi Ghar aa jate ho ?(she
yells on him )
Rishabh - dekh mera dimaag kharab mat
kar (very loud double anger from
gudiya ) kya karegi jaan kar?
Gudiya - aakhir biwi hu tumhari (loud
and one pitch high)
Rishabh - hmm !! Lekin dusri (loud
frustration anger pressure and all )
He throws his bag which falls in front of maid she gets
scared.every body in silence and gudiya & maid in shocked )

Dekh meri shadi 2 saal pahle ho chuki hai .hum logon ne court
marriage ki thi.
Lekin gharwalon ki jine Marne ki kasme aur unke lalach ki
wajah se tere se shadi karni padi mujhe kyuki Tera baap
accha- khasa dahej de rha tha.
Gharwalon ne kaha isse shadi karke ,ise hamare pass chor kar
tum chale jana ............... Aur ab kaan khol k sun mai roj
usi k pass jata hu aur usi k saath rhunga samjhi .Tera jo man
ho o kar jaha Jana hai jaa...mujhse koi matlab nahi .
( rishabh goes outside he shuts the door in jerk )( door
sound)
Gudiya - ( she breaks down badly she
cries effortlessly.............)
Slowly slowly maid comes to her closer and gives her
empathy...gudiya embrace her ...........tum sahi kahti thi
Shanta ......tum theek kahti thi .......tum sahi kahti thi
Shanta ...tum theek kahti thi ......
