Dear,

We greatly appreciate your interest in our Italian language and culture courses.

For all information regarding our in-person courses, we invite you to visit the page dedicated to
Italian Language and Culture Courses on our website. There, you will find information about:
• Course registration and payment methods;
• Placement test;
• Course structure, costs, and refunds;
• Academic calendar;
• Accommodation service (in collaboration with the Regional Agency for the Right to Higher
Education in Umbria – ADiSU);
• Visa and residence permit;
• Scholarships.

The cost of our courses is structured as follows:

• €540 per month for micro-levels from A1 to B2 (all with 18 hours per week);
• €480 per month for micro-levels C1 (15 hours per week or 21 with final exam) and C2 (16
hours per week or 22 with final exam).
Each level is divided into monthly micro-levels, and the prices mentioned refer to each of these.

Level A1 A2 B1 B2 C1 C2

A1.1 A2.1 B1.1 B2.1 C1.1 C2.1

Micro-levels A1.2 A2.2 B1.2 B2.2 C1.2 C2.2

- A2.3 B1.3 B2.3 C1.3 C2.3

Please note:
• Students who pay for the course by the 10th of the month preceding the start date and are
not part of a convention receive a €50 discount.
• Starting from January 2025, in case of late payment (i.e., after the second day of the course
according to the academic calendar), a late fee will be applied: €50 for language courses and
€15 for culture courses.

Other useful information:

• The only document required at the time of registration is a valid passport with a student visa
(for non-EU students, see also Visa and residence permit), or a valid identity document within
the EU (valid ID cards or driving licenses);
• No previous knowledge of the Italian language or other subjects is required;
• The minimum age to attend the courses is 16. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or
legal guardian at the beginning and end of the lessons. Alternatively, a written release form
signed by the parents/legal guardians is required to release the University from all
responsibility;
• Lessons take place from Monday to Friday, usually from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (on the first
day, which includes the second part of the Placement Test, activities start at 8:15 a.m.);
• Certificates/diplomas are issued upon student request after the administration confirms
regular course attendance (at least 70% of lessons). The fee for issuing the certificate of
attendance and diploma (and related taxes) is included in the registration fee.

Attention: Our current course offerings do not include intensive courses or annual university
preparatory programs. Our courses do not distinguish by age groups.

If you need a visa for study purposes, once the procedure is completed and the necessary
documents uploaded (full payment for at least one month and a valid passport), we will send you
the pre-enrollment letter, to be presented to the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your home country.

You can also check via this link whether you need to begin pre-enrollment procedures on the
UniversItaly portal.

On the portal Visa for Italy you can check whether you need a visa to study in Italy.
Finally, we emphasize that visa application procedures are entirely the responsibility of the student.

Please note: If you are only interested in language certifications, we invite you to consult the website
of the CVCL.

Kind regards,
