Hello! I am CHENG KA YING from Hong Kong. I have interest in Korean culture since 2020.
So, I found and read books from library and I gradually fall in love with them. Besides, I
studied part-time Korean courses at Hong Kong University (Space) for 2 years. At the
meanwhile, I achieved Topik 3 Results (135 points) in October 2021. (See Appendix). After
that I also started learning through Korean dramas, movies and entertainment programs. I
talked a lot about Korea with my Hong Kong friends who like Korean culture and went on
a trip to Korea during vacation but I thought that I couldn’t improve my Korean. It is
because I spoke Cantonese with my Hong Kong friends. So, that is the reason why I would
like to attend the language course in Korea.

As a result, I set a goal to acquire Topik 6 within this year. I will study hard in Korea in the
language school to learn Korean and Korean culture. After my studies, I will share my
experience and Korean culture with my Hong Kong friends. Thank You.
