Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join the team at our new dining establishment. In this role
you will be required to prepare high-quality meals and make suggestions to improve and
expand the list of menu items.
Responsibilities
1. Study each recipe and gather all the necessary ingredients
2. Cook food in a timely manner
3. Ensure appealing plate presentation
4. Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove
dairy)
5. Monitor food stock and place orders
6. Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
7. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
8. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
9. Reliable and punctual attendance
Required Qualifications/Experience
1) Experience in a kitchen or food service environment
3) Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks
4) Maintain required attention to details

2) Culinary training will be an asset

COOKING ASSISTANT
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cooking Assistant to join the team at our new
dining establishment. In this role you will support the Cook in preparing high-quality
meals and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
1) Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping and measuring ingredients
2) Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas
3) Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe cooking environment
4) Support the Cook in planning and presenting dishes according to established standards
5) Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize wastage
6) Participate in kitchen clean-up and dishwashing duties as needed
7) Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
8) Learn recipes and preparation methods for the ability to work independently when
required
9) Reliable and punctual attendance

1) Experience in a kitchen or food service environment
2) Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
