R 220 A.V.R. FOR SHUNT ALTERNATORS
1 - Description
R 220 is an analog A.V.R. with power controled by
transistors.
It is designed for small alternators with a
SHUNT excitation.
R 220 controls the excitation current in order
to maintain the output voltage of the
alternator.
R 220 is performant in terms of voltage regulation,
simple to set , to use and is reliable.
It is in compliance with I.E.C. 60034-1 standard
and U.L. 508 / C.S.A. approved.

5 - Connexion and setting
Settings are done through the A.V.R.
- Potentiometer P1 : voltage setting.
- Potentiometer P2 : stability setting.
- Strap ST3 : frequency selection.
- Potentiometer ST4 : remote voltage setting.
