 INTRODUCTION

Arab Technical Co. Ltd. was incorporated in 2004

with t h e p u r p o s e o f p r o v i d i n g s u p p o r t s y s t e m s

a n d services for Substations and Industrial sectors in

Western Province of KSA.

Since its creation, ARABTECH has evolved into a

multi-disciplined organization comprised of multiple

divisions and affiliates. This evolution was inspired by

the growing needs of customers all over the kingdom.

As a part of this inspired evolution, ARABTECH had

established multiple divisions to provide engineering,

project management and technical field services that

includes the following services:

Lump Sum Turnkey Electrical Contracting in the

Construction Field

a. 2MV and LV switchgears installation (replacement

and new installation jobs).

b. MV and LV Cables laying.

c. MV and LV cable termination with Certifie

Technicians from SEC and ARAMCO up to 132KV

voltage level.

d. Excavation, backfilling and basic civil works.

 Engineering Design and Consulting Services

a. Panel Engineering (GALA, Base design, Protection logic diagram

and detail schematic drawings) using E3, AutoCAD software.

b. Protection, Control and SWGR panel retrofitting.

c. Relay Engineering (Relay Setting calculation & relays configuration).

d. Electrical power system studies using ETAP software(Low Flow

Study, Short Circuit Studies, Arc Flash Studies).

e. Design (SLD, substation layout, cable calculation, battery sizing,

UPS calculation, …)

 Projects and Project Management Services

a) On Site Testing, Commissioning up to 380 KV (with SEC approval up

to 132 KV only)and Maintenance Contracts. Our company has a

qualified testing and commissioning engineers who are approved

from SEC with 10 years' experience and above who can do the

following activities and more:

b) Protection and control systems upgrade, modification and Testing.

c) Scheme design review and modification.

d) Testing and commissioning for a wide range of electrical Equipment as we have

completed many of successful projects and turnarounds with ARAMCO, SABIC,

MARAFIQ, SEC, YANPET, NATPET, SASREF, SWCC, KJO and much more compa

nies/enti ties in government and private sectors:

· LV, MV SWGRs.

· HV GIS including (Hipot Test up to 380 KV GIS).

· Power and Distribution Transformers.

· Motors (Partial Discharge, Current Signature Analysis, Winding Resistance,

Insulation Resistance, Tan Delta, Hipot Tests … etc).

· Generators including Loading Test with external load banks.

· Capacitor Banks.

· Power Cables (Partial Discharge, Tan Delta, VLF Hipot and Insulation Resistance)

· Protection Relays from all manufacturers (ABB, SIEMENS, GE, SEL … etc).

· Conditional Assessment Testing of Electrical Components such as (Partial

Discharge and Thermal Imaging).

· Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures, system disturbances and instability.
