OAP ESCAPE ROOM GAME FLOW
It’s Friday at 4:30 PM and the big Monthly Performance Report must be submitted
before 5:00 PM sharp. Unfortunately, the office is mysteriously locked, and the report is
hidden behind multiple office puzzles.
Your team of office administrators must complete all tasks, unlock the final drawer, and
file the report before time runs out. Otherwise… you all MISS the deadline!
Game One
Filing Frenzy (Document Order)
Clue: Players find 4 documents inside envelopes labeled with different names (e.g.,
“Anderson, Brown, Carter, Davis”). They must arrange them alphabetically.
When arranged correctly, the first letters spell a code (A-B-C-D = 1234) to open the next
envelope/lock.
Game Two
Memo Decoder (Shorthand)
Setup: The envelope contains a memo written partly in shorthand. Provide a small
reference chart for decoding.
Example Memo:
“Team, don’t forget to prepare the monthly. The next clue is in the calendar.”
(Decoded word = “REPORT”).
Task: Decode the shorthand.
Output: Word “CALENDAR.”
Use: Directs players to the calendar at Station 3.
Game Three
Calendar Crisis
Setup: Provide a desk calendar with certain dates highlighted or circled. Each circled
date matches an event in a mini company “Events Memo.”
Task: Match the circled dates with events → take the first letter of each event.
Example:
Jan 12 – Training
Feb 5 – Meeting
Mar 8 – Orientation
Letters = T-M-O → rearranged to “TOM.”
Output: Name “TOM.”
Use: Players must check the file drawer labeled “TOM” at Station 4.
Game Four
Spreadsheet Scramble
Setup: Inside Tom’s folder is a spreadsheet with some missing
Give players a printed spreadsheet (sales, attendance, or expense report).
Some totals are missing, so they must calculate.
When done correctly, the totals reveal a hidden code/word.
Example Puzzle (Sales Report):
Month Sales A Sales B Total
Jan 120 180 ?
Feb 200 150 ?
Mar 300 200 ?
Solution:
Jan = 300
Feb = 350
Mar = 500
Circle/highlighted totals (3-3-5) = Code 335
Output: Code 335 → Unlocks the Printer Station.
Game Five
Printer Jam Riddle
A “jammed” printer (fake papers stuck together) has scrambled words or phrases.
Players must rearrange the words to form a business term (e.g., “CONFIDENTIAL
REPORT” → password for next task). and use a light source to see what's the
message.
Example:
Last Station (two suggestion for final part)
Signature Authorization (Approval Step)
The printed jam paper reveals the name of the approving officer (e.g., “Director –
Mr. Cruz”).
Players must match the correct signature from a stack of fake signatories.
Only the right one unlocks the final envelope with the escape certificate/report.
Email the Boss (Digital Submission)
The jammed paper contains scrambled email address letters (e.g.,
“
[email protected]”).
Players must unscramble and “send” the report (drop it in a fake inbox or on a
laptop screen with “SEND” button).
